I with another mom on here that said sometimes it worked and sometimes the motor was going but it wasn't going. And the legs,,, never knew how far apart they were suppose to be. If they weren't perfect they would make a noise. Also, if you have the mobile on, it makes a noise like it gets stuck or something. No bueno when your baby is sleeping. The noise scares them and wakes them up. We were already going to purchase another one because we can not be without the swing! I got this as a gift off my registry. Something I learned though, they will accept returns/exchanges for up to a year if the item was purchased off your registry.

My daughter LOVES this swing! The lights, music, 3different speeds, and 3 different swing directions...whats not to love! I also love the fact that it plugs into a wall and/or battery operated. Ive heard so many people say they went through tons of batteries...but not with this swing!

My first swing came out of the box broken the gears where stripped and it made the worest sounds and even on the highest setting would swing very slow and then just stop. Got a replacement SAMETHING! It would not work and finally just stopped moving all together. Fisher price was AMAZING about it. They have refunded our money and the amamzing treatment I got I will buy another fisher price swing. Just this one happens to be NO GOOD!

This swing is pretty great at first. My baby girl loves it. She takes her cat naps on it. She watches tv on it. But now it has stopped swinging. The motor in it has stopped working. The only thing that is working is the mobile and the music/sounds.

We have been big fans of Fisher Price products for years as we have four children who have used them. So when we found out that we were going to be grandparents we went out to buy more. One of the items that we purchased was this FP Swing because we had an older wind up version years ago. We really were excited about the design of this swing as it is electric and has 6 rocking speeds. Well we got this home and couldn't wait to use it for our grandson. Needless to say the swing worked for about a week and then started swinging very slow no matter what speed it was on. We took it back and exchanged it for another and after 1 day, the new swing has gone back to only one speed no matter the setting. We are disappointed and frustrated with this product. Sorry for the negative review, however we are just being honest.

My 1 month old son loves the swing but the gear was getting caught and making a loud clicking noise. I called fisher price and they shipped me a new part in two business days. We replaced it and it works perfectly. Great customer service. My son is back to looking up at the lambs with a huge smile on his face and the noise is gone.

We tried this swing THREE times! All 3 swings made the loud clunking noise when the overhead light and mobile were turned on. Our baby loves the swinging motion and the music... But that noise is unacceptable, and clearly not just a random glitch as the other reviews point to the same problem :( our advice- don't waste your time and money!!

I was 100% against getting a swing because they're all so huge and we didn't want our house loaded with baby stuff. After several sleepless nights and unproductive days we got this one. We read all the mixed reviews and went with it anyway because it's more compact that most swings of it's caliber, it's gender neutral, and the colors are neutral, plus it looked super cozy.

Our baby LOVES it! She stares at the light show for ever, giving me time to do a load of laundry or e-mail a client. It's super soft too (I wish there was an adult version).

The slowest setting seems like a fast swing but its no faster than my husband rocks her in the rocking chair. Also the motor is working fine, no weird noises as I've read in other reviews. I think the key is to make sure you turn the swing OFF and stop it before you take your child out.

Overall I'd definitely recommend this swing!

This would be the best swing if they could fix the glitch. Anytime the lights are on (which makes the overhead spin) a gear catches and makes a loud popping noise. My son can fall asleep in the swing fast and it is so soft and comfortable but the noise will wake him instantly. I have returned the swing thinking it was just that one. Brought home a new one and it does the same thing. Shame because if it wasnt for this loud sound it would have 5 stars.

never worked properly. when you would start swing it would make loud clicking noises for a long time before it would start to swing. now, two months later, it only swings slowly if up to highest setting! but most times doesn't swing at all. mobile now started making loud clicking noises as well.
