We have two large openings in our livingroom and had a difficult time finding gates that would look nice and be safe. These gates were easy to install and look nice. Best of all, out 9 month old can pull to stand and shake the gate without fear that it will fall over on top of him.

This is a nice sturdy gate that esily attaches and is relatively easy to use. We use it to keep the dogs off the carpet and the grandaughter in. My two favorite features are self closing and there is a stay open position. My one minor complaint is, I thought it could be shortened to fit the opening but it bevels in instead. It still looks good so we're okay with it.

We ordered this deluxe decor gate after being totally disappointed in the north states extra wide swing gate (wood). We bought the NS extra wide swing gate to keep our dog in the back room, but Also to keep our daughter out. It really was a huge frustration. I could hardly open the gate or latch it back on the hooks, so I eventually just began stepping over the gate any time I needed to get out or in and being pregnant a second time this was quite a challenge!I read some good reviews on this gate, and even though it is made by north states as well, it is a huge difference. It is super easy to open and even shuts itself which is ultra convenient. I think the metal also has a cleaner and neater look than the wood. I definitely recommend it to anyone!

I wanted this gate to keep my rottweiler in the kitchen and dining room area (tile and hardwood floors) and to keep our (coming soon) princess in the living room (carpeted). The gap (archway) is 5 feet across and this gate fits perfectly. It literally took me less than 10 minutes to install this gate. It comes put together, when you take it out of the box, you "unfold" it, line up where you want to put it and then do your drilling and installing. I am not sure they could make it any easier. I recommend this to anyone with a dog or kids or both. Easy to open and close, sturdy and looks great.... way better than the plastic or wooden gates. Buy it now, you will not be unhappy with it.

I had to find a baby gate that covered a 60" archway between my living room and dining room. There were only a few models to choose from, and this one happened to be the cheapest and had good ratings. I was hesitant to order something I could not actually see since it was online purchase only, but was glad I did. The gate itself has no components to put together, and yes you do have to drill the mounts into the wall. But I could not get over how quick and easy it was to do. The gate is sturdy, easy to use, and the stay open feature is awesome. I have zero worries when my son holds onto the gate. I would highly recommend this.

after searching and searching we found this gate to go across the threshold of kitchen/den area , it is about 6.5 feet across. The gate is strong , flexible, and looks great. Made of good quality craftmanship.

Works perfectly for our 66 inch doorway. I bought two gates and this one was far superior. Looks great too! My 2 yr old can not get it open...and believe me he tries!
