IMO, this stroller is worth every penny! You are getting the features of strollers that cost a ton more, at a very reasonable price. It's really cute, folds VERY compactly, has a simple/intuitive green/red foot break (I don't understand how this can be confusing to some people), and c'mon, the fold/unfold is NOT that hard! After reading the instructions you will def. get it. After you do it once or twice it's actually VERY simple. You are not going to get such a tiny fold with any other stroller or fold type. Bottom line is it's an all around great little stroller that won't cost you a fortune. Hope this helps. :)

I've owned a Peg Perego Venezia travel system, an older and smaller Combi and a Maclaren Triump prior to try this stroller in the store. I was disappointed on this stroller because it looks really nice in the video. It weighs more heavier than I expected. It states 16 lbs but it feels like 18 lbs+ to me. I like the fact that it has very big canopy, good recline system and the seat is much higher than most strollers so my child's feet don't touch the front wheels easily. I also like that it stands on its own when it's folded. That's the reason why I tried it instead of a Maclaren Quest which has excellent manuverbility. Also, the price of this stroller is very reasonable. However, I don't like its brake system on the back wheels. They are designed in red and green with one up and one down which is odd and confusing to me. It also takes some practice to open and close the stroller. You need to push the buttons on the handles very hard and pull up the level on the back of the stroller at the same time to close it. If you want to open it, you push the same buttons again, shake it and step on the back to open. It has similar folding design but not the quality as Peg Perego strollers. It's very compact when folded which I like but again it isn't as compact and light weight as Peg Perego Pliko Mini. One thing I really don't like about this stroller is that the handles are a little too big for my hands. I'm 5'7" and have average hand size. Maybe it's good for men and people with bigger hands. The handles are made of plastic and feel very slippery to turn. It is difficult for me to turn with one hand with a baby sitting in the stroller. The wheels are also a little shaky as I walk around. It immediately turned me away. I finally decided to get the Peg Perego although it's double the price. If you don't mind of what I concern above and don't want to pay the price of a Peg Perego, this is a very good price stroller to consider.

Only 1 thing ruins it

By Katy Mom

About Me Parent of Two or More Children

Comments about Heidi Klum 1028772 Truly Scrumptious Scope Stroller - Dutch Blue:

Everything about this stroller is pretty great except for one thing. That one thing is one of the most important: opening and closing it. What helps is to read the directions carefully, which I believe some reviewers failed to do. That being said, even doing it correctly, it's still hard to fold and unfold. You have to shake it pretty vigorously to open it, all the while pressing on the buttons on the handles, then you have to push the back lever down to open it all the way. Closing it is almost as much of a pain. If you're strong and have no bodily aches or pains - I'm strong, but suffering from bad neck pain, that's why I'm writing this review- then it won't be that big of a deal. I've had a horrible time today trying to use this stroller, in so much pain, it's only made it worse.

There are a lot of good things to say about the stroller, but I don't think those make up for the folding/unfolding problems.

Comments about Heidi Klum 1028772 Truly Scrumptious Scope Stroller - Dutch Blue:

We use a Chicco Cortina as our primary stroller and we got this one as an inexpensive alternative to keep at my mom's. I don't know if I just got a sticky one, but this one is a real pain to fold and unfold. We end up leaving it assembled in her entryway all the time because it is so difficult. I was surprised to see that when it folds down, it's not much smaller than the massive Cortina! I have a really, really tiny hatchback car and the Cortina takes up the entire trunk, but I love it so I don't mind. This one, however takes up the whole trunk, too, and isn't nearly as practical, comfortable or easy-to-use as the Chicco. I don't hate this stroller, I'm just not overly impressed. If it was a major bargain, I would tolerate the problems, but when you figure that this is over $100, it's not great. The Cortina was more expensive, but if you think about it, I got a carseat, an anchor and a stroller for $300, so I feel like the other was a much better value and this really wasn't that cheap after all...

I bought this stroller because of the limited trunk space in my SUV and also because I wanted something lighter to lug in and out of the car. It is great. Easy to operate. Compact gold. The only drawback is there is a small space to carry things underneath. Oh and it reclines back for sleeping, good for toddlers when they nap on the go.

Comments about Heidi Klum 1028772 Truly Scrumptious Scope Stroller - Dutch Blue:

On 04 April I was in the store in Orlando and I bought a truly scrumptious scope umbrela but on 01 May it just break the feet support. I am totally disapointed with the service Store 8726 - Orlando, because I contacted the store who asked me to speak at this number 18008697787 and the attendant, told me it would only be possible to exchange the stroller trully scrumptious if I were to store. So I asked if there was the possibility of just send me the part that was broken under 01 month use... because I bought the stroller on April 4, 2013 and broke the foot support on May 1, 2013. Even so, the attendant placed would not be possible ..... I even living in Brazil. I put that I am totally dissatisfied with the care and service and never buy anything in the stores guys and neither will recommend to anyone.
      Sincerely,
      Giane Freitas

Comments about Heidi Klum 1028772 Truly Scrumptious Scope Stroller - Dutch Blue:

I was looking for a reasonably priced, well built, light weight Umbrella Stroller that could hold up to 50 pounds. I must say it's difficult to find an Umbrella Stroller that is well built, holds up to 50 pounds that doesn't cost several couple hundred dollars. We just purchased the Truly Scrumptious Scope Stroller in Dutch Blue because it met all of my needs and it was on sale! The Stroller was well packaged in the box and I knew instantly I wouldn't pull out a damaged product. There wasn't much to assemble. The only items that had to be assembled were the attachment of the front and back wheels which was super easy to do... taking the stroller out of the box took longer time than putting the wheels on. The stroller is well built, solid and sharp looking. It did take me a couple of times to learn how to fold the stroller but once I figured it out it was all good and got easier every time. This stroller would be awesome if it was a pound lighter however it's still light weight and easy to pick/lift up. This stroller maneuvers beautifully! I believe because this Umbrella Stroller is so well built that I will get great use out of it and certainly my money worths.

I wanted to like it, love the concept. The quality is bad .the folding mechanics are not practical, u need 3 arms! It broke on our first flight. It jams all the time, I have actually yelled at this stroller. I think the quality is more in the bottom range of strollers. I gave one star because it leans back for sleeping. The shade is also not made right. Very poor design. I'm very disappointed.

I have gone through 4 strollers in the the 2.5 years. My son is rather tall for his age, and we have had a hard time finding a stroller that is not only lightweight and easy to store in our trunk, but all large enough so my LO can't stand up and run away while still strapped in (yes, he has done that). When I saw this one at the store, I not only fell in love with the design but also the price. The folding/unfolding is a little tricky at first, but is really easy to figure out after a little practice (took me all of three times to really get it down). The brakes are reliable. I felt no shaking when pushing it around the mall for an hour. If you are slightly taller, I am 5'9", it is a great height. I know that I have had a hard time finding a stroller that doesn't leave me hunched over all the time. The fabric is durable, and easy to wipe off.

I fell in love with the look of this stroller. I was looking for a lightweight stroller and yes this one is light (probably the only reason I gave this two stars. However, I returned it after just one day. It claims to be easy to use open/close, but it took me having to go back to the store to figure out how to unfold it and not a single associate could figure it out. Once we got it open we had just the same amount of trouble closing it. I need a stroller that I can open/close easily as I'm traveling with my toddler. It is also not very durable. The wheels are pretty flimsy and not such a smooth ride.
