Great Addition to Your Collection

My son and I are very much into this game since the first one came out. What some reviewers thought would be a passing fad type of game has turned into a world-wide phenomenon. We bought this set to add to our already sizable collection of Skylanders. Some parents may think that having multiple figures with different paint jobs is a waste of money, but most of the alternate paint jobs (especially the Legendary series) allow for two players to have the same character and "grow" those characters on different paths.
My son and I have beat more levels working together as Jet-Vac and Legendary Jet-Vac than I can remember. We also have upgraded (or "grown") the characters on different ability paths, making the characters unique in the game, not just a different paint job physically.
Any parent who wants to spend more time with any child who loves video games can easily build a bond through this game. And alternate versions of the same character helps. Playing as the "same" character often keeps the game-play fun and limits the complaint that one character has an advantage over the other.
I cannot recommend these products enough. In fact, when we are at Toys R Us, we look through the Skylanders section together. Not only is it fun to find new items, but we end up recommending items to other shoppers when they ask. I've met more than a dozen other parents that are as into this game as I am.
Thank you Toys R Us for putting the investment into this product and making the Legendary series available at your stores.

My brother-in-law loves both of the Skylander game/ toys, but in my opinion, the characters level way too fast, and the price is just not worth it.

    It did not work and the figures broke right away . My son got it as a gift and he got upset about how quickly it broke. I would not recommend it.
