We bought this for our son's 3rd birthday. He was excited to get it and jumped on it right away. He had no problems staying up on it and very quickly learned how to turn and stop. He also quickly learned that it was fun to ride fast and do a skid stop. This wore out the rear wheel after 7 months. The wheel became more square shaped with all the skid stops! We called the manufacturer who shipped us a new one for a fee. My husband installed it without a problem and our son is back on it. We have since encouraged him to stop more gradually when possible. Our 1.5 year old is trying to ride the scooter when we get it away from the 3 year old. Our 2 year old niece tried it out, loved it, and just got one too!

We've got this scooter a month ago, my son is 26month old, he loves this scooter and I hope it will last for a few years. The base is wider than fancy Kick scooters, but it is quite a good thing, sometimes, my son puts both feet on the base. The weels are perfect, handles are sturdy, not as foamy nonsence of Razer scooters. Good quality and well priced, I highly recommend it to anyone!

When I first saw this, I was a little skeptical because the price seems a bit high, but it is totally worth it. We were deciding between this and a bike for my 4 year-old. We got this and it's fantastic. He figured it out immediately and does it all on his own. I was worried he might tumble over the front bars like sometimes happens with scooters, but this one is very well balanced & that hasn't happened once. I love the pivoting handlebar/wheels combination rather than turning it with the handles, it's much easier. I would definitely buy this again. Great product!

I got this scooter for my 3 yr old daughter (pink one though) for Christmas and my 5 yr old wont let her ride it! Because of this its like WWIII in our house and I am buying a second scooter of this type very soon.

Pros are:

Easy to balance for kids. This means they can spend more time zipping around and less effort and concentration trying to balance all the time.

Seems well made. The grips are large for little hands and the handle bar seems solid. The platform is pure plastic so I never get on it which is a bummer because it looks like a lot of fun.

My daughters seem to really like the lean-steering mechanisim. The handle bar on this scooter does not turn. Instead the rider must lean to one side to turn that direction. Much like the way the wheels on a skateboard work.

CONS:

Cannot steer sharp and therefore you need a lot of room to manuver.

Platform is plastic and I am not confident it will hold bigger kids. I would estimate 75lbs or less for this scooter but check the manual.

I cannot speak to the longevity of this product as its only been about 3 weeks. But its still works great for what its worth.

I purchased this scooter a few months ago for my 5 year old. After many uses the scooter is still sturdy and the tires can roll smoothly over anything. At first my daughter struggled with it because in order to move left or right the rider has to use their foot. With other scooters you can use the handle bar to move left or right. With about one week of practice she figured it out. She LOVES it and wants to use it all the time.
