I bought this for myself because the other cambering scooters looked like so much fun but very costly. I took my kids out on the trail - them with bikes and me with this. I have always done inline skating but my kids are not yet fast enough on their bikes to keep up with me and I am afraid that trying to help them while on blades would cause me to become injured. And I am not willing to jog along beside their bikes (too boring). This was an excellent solution. It is fun to use and I had no trouble picking it up after 5 min in the garage. It does not go up hills well - you have to kick the ground or walk beside it. It is fun to go down the hills but less stable than blades. I think it would be most fun on a flat area - parking lot, cul de sac, etc. Someplace with lots of turns or twists. That is much more fun than going straight. If you have ever skied or bladed - you should have no trouble picking up the movement. My 7 yr old tried it - it is a bit big for her and she had trouble getting it to go but she tends to be the reserved/cautious type. I did not have any trouble getting it to go with her on it too (not recommended but was trying to get her to understand the movement). It would probably be easy for an 8 yr old or an athletic 7 yr old. Even still, it was big enough that I was comfortable using it - I am 5'3" and had the handle bars as low as they could go.

My husband and I have the F5, we LOVE it! We got our three children the F3 and the F1...according to their size. We *LOVE* the Fliker Family of scooters!! We are a Fliker Family as well!

My daughter is 10 and has the F3, she started riding like she was a pro, the very first time she got on.

She is able to collapse this by herself and set it up as well. The Flikers are very easily transported, either folded or ridden!

We have a BLAST with our Flikers!!!

Keep on Flikering on!

I bought the scooter after me and my family tried it in the store. We had so much fun we had to have one. Had to order it online because they have a hard time keeping in stock at store here. Didn't take terribly long to get but I am glad I purchased it! My family and I have really enjoyed it! Worth the purchase! I recommend this for kids and adults!

I purchased this scooter for my 8 year old niece. She has never really liked riding a bike and I was looking for something else to keep her outside and off of video games. I am a pretty active person and she spends most weekends with me while her mom works. It was worth every penny! She loves it! I think the main reason she has never liked riding anything is because she is very cautious and has always felt unstable on a bike, skates, and other scooters. On this she can be as cautious or as crazy as she wants to be without feeling unsafe because it has 3 wheels. I bought the 3 which holds up to 220 lbs so she will never out grow it. And since it is so sturdy, I love riding it myself! We took it to a local park recently and it turned so many heads. All the adults were asking were they could buy one.

Great sturdy scooter, looks great, my daughter loves riding on it. Recommended age is 7 - 9 or 10 I think, she is 9 and average size and I was a bit concerned it may be too small, but it is a good size and looks like it will last a while, I would think larger kids would find it suitable as well.
