Was purchased for a 2-3/4 year old boy as gift from Santa. Grand son loved the easiness of changing the dino to a car and vise versa. He played very roughly with cars, crashing it into things, the plastic windsheild came off but to my delight popped right back on. He loves this gift.

My 5 year old son got this for Christmas from his grandmother and he has not stopped playing with it since we opened it. He has to take it every where. However we did not realize that we could customize the screen and such until I started reading ree reviews and finding out how much the other dinos are. We want to get him the whole set.

My son loves this new vtech line we had to buy the entire set. the cars are easy to transform (my son is 16 month and can transform). He has to take a car every where we go. I wouldnt say its lasting fun though as he has soo many toys and gets bord quick. Overall very pleased with the product.

My son is 3 and my daughter is 5, and they both love this (as well as Tonn the Stegasaurus, who we received at the same time). With any toy like this, I get nervous that I'll have to switch it for the kids every time, but that wasn't the case with these. My daughter could immediately switch them both between dino and car modes, but my son took about 20 minutes to figure it out, after seeing his sister and me show him how to do so.

It took us a while to realize that we could customize the LCD screen with different drivers and eyes, but this toy provided a lot of fun before we realized that. The kids have played hard with this and the T-Don toy for more than a month now, and both look brand-new, so they handle wear well! We'll be buying more and giving them as gifts.

My sons (ages 9 and 11) have both the T-Don and Tonn and absolutely love interacting with these fun, clever toys.

Transformer-like in function, they offer so much more with multiple character functions, sounds, and learning opportunities. It's everything I would expect from a Vtech toy morphed into dinosaur fun.

As a parent I love how the toys entertain and educate. As children, my sons simply enjoy the way the toy functions and keeps them entertained. Some toys head disappear into the depths of the toy box too quickly, the Vtech Dinos are not one of them. They've stayed out in the open and in full play for over a month now.

My boys also have a great time using their action figures along with the Vtech Dinos for creative play.

The Vtech Switch and Go Dinos are very durable and we've had no problems with transforming or functionality.

I'm always looking for fun toys that my 3 yr old triplets will enjoy. With 2 girls and a boy, I like to find items that all 3 will enjoy playing with. We have several Vtech toys and I'm always impressd with the quality and educational value of their toys. These switch and go Dinos are no exception.
For starters, my kids love transforming these from Dino to car. Even their 18 month old friend had no trouble figuring out how to switch them back and forth. The LCD screen is adorable, having both a driver animation when in car form and facial expressions when in Dino form. There are so many different combinations and animations to make it keeps the kids' attention. These Dinos have been played with everyday since we got them and they are holding up great to even the toughest playtime.
I'm giving T-Don 4 out of 5 stars because the volume control isn't the best (loud or louder) and his voice is a bit annoying compared to the other vtech dinos. Other than that, this is a great toy that kids will play with time and time again!

T-Don the Pteranodon by VTech arrived at my house for review and my son couldn't wait to get the package open to try out his new toy. He spent hours racing it around and changing it from a Pteranodon to a race car. I would highly recommend this toy to any child under 8. My son asked for some of the other Switch and Go Dino"s for his birthday that is coming up soon.
The only draw back is that it is very noisy. If you are a parent who is eaily bothered by noise this may not be the toy for you.
