We just ordered this dresser for our nursery, it arrived in perfect condition!! The drawers have plenty of room, the finish is absolutely gorgeous & it looks like a quality piece of furniture compared to the others I have seen out there!

Please DO NOT BUY furniture from Baby's R Us.

We were so excited to buy this new piece of beautiful furniture, but the delivery has been a complete nightmare.

For the first delivery, I was given 10 minutes head's up that the truck was going to be at my house. I raced home from work to meet them, and there was only 1 guy and a dolly to move a 200 lb. dresser. He told me he could only drop off the dresser in my garage (apparently whether or not they will bring it in to your house is up to the delivery company that BRU contracts it out to and you don't find out until they show up).

Mind you, I am 9 months pregnant and paid $200 in shipping fees because I do not have the means to lift a dresser up two flights of stairs. Being caught off guard, I let him drop the dresser off. When I finally could get the packaging off, the dresser looked like someone had taken a sledge hammer to one whole corner. COMPLETELY DAMAGED. My husband had to stay on the phone for over an hour (including two wait times of 30+ minutes) until he could work out how to: 1) get this damaged dresser from our house and 2) get a new one. The customer service agent first told us that we would have to find our own way to return this to the store. After we talked to a few more people, they told us they would send a "return" slip and send a new dresser.

We told the customer service rep that we needed a company that would deliver the furniture inside our house and to at least have 2 men to move the dresser. We also mentioned we needed more than 10 minutes heads up that the delivery was coming. The representative said she made a note on our file as such.

Fast forward 7 days, and we get a call that the delivery compnay is at our house - no head's up AGAIN. Not only that, but it is the exact same delivery man from the first time, and he is by himself AGAIN and will not be bringing it inside my house.

At this point, I told him to keep the dresser and that I would call BRU again to work this out. Between myself, my husband, and my mom (who had to help out because of the time this was taking), we spent an additional 5 hours on the phone with online supervisors, corporate customer service reps, etc. to get a simple notion of delivery inside a house worked out. The final note from BRU is that they have no control over who they farm the local delivery out to and they could not ensure that they could find someone who would do so.

My husband finally called the local shipping company, and worked it out with them.

My other shipments from BRU have been a breeze, but their oversized shipments department needs to get their act together. Also, you are selling furniture to PREGNANT women - assuming that they can lift a 200 pount dresser after paying $200 in shipping fees is laughable.

If you can find this dresser, please buy it elsewhere as it really is nice, but Baby's R Us has ruined the entire experience.

It's a beautiful piece of furniture!! Great quality wood, does not scratch, nice dark brown color wood. It matches to my Davinci espresso color crib perfectly!
Very functional to use the top as changing table. I would highly recommend it.
P.S I probably looked at 10-15 dressers before finding this one.
