I fell in love with this chair back in August when I was out shopping with my mom. I wasn't even through my 1st trimester so I wasn't about to spend money on nursery furniture yet. Fast forward to November and my MIL purchased this chair for me and I could not be happier! The fabric is super soft and the chair is the perfect height for me (I'm 5'4"). The back is just high enough for me to lean my head back on and I can definitely see myself falling asleep with my little one in my arms come March. The color is super bright, but I like the pop in the baby's room. If you're ok with the color then you'll definitely fall in love once you sit in this chair!!

I love this glider. It's very comfortable with modern clean lines that go better with my decor than most cheesy looking baby gliders. We can continue to use this chair after the babies get older without it looking out of place or babyish. It's extremely comfortable too which can't be said of many modern style chairs. We were able to order ours through the store in a different color, they had many options available. Ours is a nice charcoal gray. I agree that the turquoise is extremely impractical. my only complaint is that the standard colors available are pretty terrible and to get a decent color, you have to special order which takes about 8+ weeks.

This chair is stylish, the color is just what i was looking for. It glides nicely without any noise. My new baby and me love rocking in it. Every single guest loves sitting in it too.

Tried this glider out in the store and it was the best one in our price range. Modern looking and very comfortable. We special ordered ours in a different color and have no received it yet but I will update when our chair arrives.

This is a very beautiful modern glider. A lot of people complain about the color but it went very well with my mocha furniture and my white bed and it sure beats the boring normal brown and beige colors that most gliders come in. I'm using this chair in the master bedroom since my baby is still a newborn. The glider is very smooth and absolutely quiet. The craftsmanship is excellent and worth every penny! Even though it's not available in other colors it still deserves a high rating for the quality and performance. I would definitely purchase furniture from Newco again!

My husband and I just bought this chair over the weekend. The floor model was on sale for a crazy good price at our local store. We'd been looking at different gliders/rockers, but they were all more than we wanted to spend. This was the right price point and right item. Super comfortable! Our baby is not due until January, so we are currently enjoying the rocker in our family room. I could fall asleep in it and look forward to nursing in it in a few months. The color is bright, but I love it. I would describe it as a robin's egg or Tiffany blue. I think it is a very feminine blue (we are having a girl), but with a navy blue throw blanket or pillow it could work for a boy as well. We could not be happier with this chaira and ottoman. I realize several reviewers did not like the color. If the color is for you, you will be happy with the style, quality, and comfort. No complaints here.

Reading the other reviews, I just wanted to add that if you ask the employee to let you see the book of different colors and swatches, there are tons of other colors in this chair!! The first time I asked, I was told that was the only color. Next time I asked, very friendly girl gave me a book with a ton of other color options. We didnt purchase, but I can say this is very modern and very comfortable when I sat in it at the store. The only problem was that if you order a different color, it can take 10-12 weeks to get it in!
