I ordered this item from Toys R Us. Com. I ordered the item around 6pm the night before I went to the store. The next morning I looked to see if I got the email telling me the item was ready for pick up. In the morning I still hadn't received the email so I still couldn't pick up the item although Toys R Us showed that they had the product in stock. I met a friend who I was spending the day shopping with so we headed to Toys R Us. My phone went off and there was the email stating that they were unable to fulfill my order and my credit card would be refunded. I was upset because this was a hard to find item. Obviously they didn't have it in the store and if it wasn't for my friend having to go to Toys R Us I wouldn't have gone. I walked over to the vtech toys and sure enough the item I was looking for was right there on the shelf. I purchased the item but was furious because they had the item but yet couldn't couldn't fulfill my order and if it wasn't for my friend I wouldn't have gone.

My son loves this toy. An earlier review commented on the fact that the fire truck isn't an electronic one, it gives that information freely in the description. We bought the electronic one as well so my son has both, he loves both of them. The only negative I have about it is that it can be loud while people are trying to sleep, lol.

We purchased this fire station for our kids because they have the garage and love playing with it. Since they often fight over the vehicle that came with the garage, we wanted to purchase more vehicles. Unfotunately, they are very difficult to find. We figured we would purchase another playset and then we would also have another vehicle. We were so disappointed to find that the fire truck does not have the light and sound button feature that the other vehicles do. While the fire station itself has several interactive components, we felt it was misleading to include a vehicle that does not exhibit all the features that the other vehicles in this line of toys do. If not for the fact that the kids began playing with the fire station and enjoyed that part of it before we realized the fire truck did not light up or play music, we would have returned it. Overall, the toy is cute, but be aware that you may not be getting all you expect.

My son likes this but it does not connect to the garage for lack of female pieces on the tracks. It also comes with what appears to be the Smaet Wheels Fire Truck but it isn't! It's a hollow version with no button, no sounds, and no lights! What a rip!
