I was really impressed at first. Once I aligned the red dot finder was I could find many galazies, star clusers, and the double star in the Big Dipper's handle. However, after 4 months of use, my telescope lacked the ability to stay in the same position that my red dot finder was aimed. The base was wobbly, needing continuous adjustment. I will be returning my telescope as soon as I can. It was a good telescope to start with, but only for a short time.

My 7 year old son wanted a telescope for Christmas. The first one I purchased I had to return being that everything was showing upside down. Due to Toys R Us terrific returned policy I was able to return the item to the school and purchased another one. The next one arrived and it was PERFECT! I highly recommend this product to ALL of the young scientist's out there.

the Telescope itself is amazing for the inexpensive cost of the item.I was impressed with the images seen with it. Disappointment came with the positioning device. My son recieved the first one for christmas, and taking it out of the box and setting it up, you could not position the telesciope as the gears are stripped. After 3 attempts, we were able to exchange the merchandise. the new one worked the first night and by the second.......the gears no longer held the telescope in position.

Very disappointed in the functions of the stand. the Telescope itseld still amazes me as to how far out you can see.

My son received this as a Christmas present. We were so excited to use it, but we were not able to see anything. Very cheap construction and not worth the money. Might want to spend a little more for something your child can actually use.

The front of the Telescope is top heavy and will not stay in one postion. Should not have to hold it while trying to look at the moon. The lenses can be stonger as well.

could not see anything in the daylight, saw a simliar model in another store a a lot lower price and the dvd shows a lot of accessorys lens, filters., carrying case that were not in my box? My son was not happy with it at all. i am returning it to the store
