This easel was the right size for my 2 yr. old grandson who is ALL boy. It was extremely easy to put together and very sturdy. Doesn't take up much room which my daughter appreciated. However, still plenty to do with this easel. He likes the chalk board as well as the marker side. We got him the markers that don't dry up. He enjoyed the magnet letters, numbers and other shapes sticking to the floor vent ..... so supervision with those would be warranted. First time buying this brand and I was delighted with how well made it was and I will buy this brand again. Comparible to a more expensive durable plastic brand. I also liked the colors.

My son (19 months) loves playing with this. He likes to "count" the magnets by putting them up and putting them away. When he gets a little older we'll be brave and give him markers/chalk to draw on it. Great little investment that will get a lot of play time.

Still had to buy markers and chalk but that's OK as they were the stocking stuffers for this present!

I am a grandmother of twins who are now three. I brought two and this was the best thing I did for Christmas. The twins play school and draw. They tell stories to each other of what they are drawing on the board. All of my four kids are expecting in 2013 and I see a lot of gifts coming from products of Step 2. Great gift.

Found this quite easy to assemble however i didn't receive all the necessary screws needed to keep it together. It's holding up study anyway. With screws on either sides and some old ones i found from other toys. So far only my 2 year old can play there comfortable . My 4 year old still shows interest when the little one not around.
The board appears as study as it is. It s not to soft or to rigid. All around it cleans up with soap water. The chalk board dries quickly. All the magnet pieces were there . The kids like it.

As a homeschool mom, I'm always on the lookout for items that can be used time and time again, in new and creative ways, and this writing, drawing and playing easel from Step 2 is perfect!

Now, with the two sides both available for play, a big and little brother can both have a "piece" of Easel. very sturdy. The Easel is simple to clean, with smooth plastic and storage bins that come off to clean as well. It is lightweight and can be moved from one room to another for use easily.

A nice addition to a childs room or toyroom.

I purchased this product for my 2 nephews 1 1/2 & 3 yrs old. The product arrived within the stated time frame, it contained all parts and was fairly easy to assemble. I would recommend to a friend or family member.

The only complaint that I have is this product was delivered with a huge hole in the box the size of an adult's shoe.

This is a great and entertaining easel for your kids. My kids are 6 and 4 and they use this easel all the time. We love that it has a front and back that can be used at the same time (no fighting from the kids!). It was very easy to put together and is sturdy and strong feeling. If I have to move it around, it is light enough to do so, from room to room. It did not come with chalk, as it has a chalk board, so that was the only thing I would have to say I did not like. Otherwise, it has cute magnets and fun things for the magnetic side of the board and my kids love using both sides!
