Bought this for my 18 mo old grand-daughter for her "Big girl bed" was very disappointed with it, it came in pieces and not secure at all. Bad when I'm in Mi and shes in NYC,

After finally getting put together and set up on the bed, I literally watched the zipper seem pop open. I attempted to put it back on track, but it would not zip anymore. Also, the instructions visually make it appear that you pull up on the whole rail to fold down, but there are plastic clamps on each side that need to be pulled up. It seemed as if it would have been sturdy, but not worth the money if the zipper breaks so quickly on the cover, and that hinders confidence in other parts of the assembly.

Do not purchase this bedrail

This product is garbage. The sleeve is way too tight, it tore as I was putting it on. In an attempt to salvage it, I sewed it up and tried again. Once I was able to get the sleeve on, the zipper handle broke as I was trying to close the zipper. After that, I used needle nose pliers to try and close what remained of the cheap zipper...of course then the zipper completely broke off. I don't have a receipt or the box it came in, so it's now in the garbage.

Very disappointed with this KRU product.

I got this for my son's first big boy bed. It is really tall and I wasn't comfortable leaving the sides open. I like how the rail swings down but it isn't flimsy. My son leaned against it and it held him very well. I will say that it would be nice if they changed how it attaches to the mattress. It isn't easy to make his bed with the bulky pieces and you can't lift the mattress too much or the anchor thingy slips. They should redesign this so that the rail straps wrap around the mattress itself and have a strong clip to get a better fit and sturdier hold.
