What is the Very Important Baby (V.I.B.) card?

The Very Important Baby (V.I.B.) card is a reloadable gift card that can be used to purchase all of baby's important essentials - diapers, wipes, formula, and baby food! When funds are loaded onto the V.I.B. card, "R"Us will add a 10% bonus within 24 to 48 hours. For example, if $100 is loaded onto a V.I.B. card, "R"Us will add $10 bonus dollars. Up to $200 bonus dollars can be earned per year.

Where is a V.I.B. card valid?

The V.I.B. card is valid at all Babies"R"Us and Toys"R"Us stores in the United States and Puerto Rico, excluding Outlet locations. At this time, you cannot use your V.I.B. card to make purchases online.

How do I load funds onto my V.I.B. card online?

You can add funds to your V.I.B. card at any time online. Just follow the instructions to key in your V.I.B. number, select the dollar amount to be added, and then proceed through checkout.

How do I load funds onto a V.I.B. card on a Baby Registry?

Gift givers can add funds to a registered Mom's V.I.B. card both in-store and online. To add funds online, just add the V.I.B. card to your cart from a Baby Registry, select the dollar amount to be added, and then proceed through checkout. To add funds in-store, come to any "R"Us store location and obtain a registry printout. Bring the printout to the register, where a Team Member can complete the transaction.

How much money can gift givers add to my V.I.B. card?

There is no limit to how much a gift giver can add to your V.I.B. Card. However, the V.I.B. card can hold only a maximum balance of $1,800 from gift giver or cardholder contributions at any given time.

How much in V.I.B. bonus dollars can be earned?

V.I.B. cardholders can get up to $200 bonus dollars per year. When the maximum bonus is reached, the card will reset on the anniversary of the card's activation date.

Can V.I.B. bonus dollars be redeemed for cash or store credit?

Bonus dollars are loaded directly on the V.I.B. card and can only be applied towards the purchase of diapers, wipes, formula or baby food. Bonus dollars cannot be redeemed for cash or store credit, except as required by law.

How can I check my V.I.B. card balance?

You can visit the Reward"R"Us website at Toysrus.com/myrewards to view your V.I.B. account balance and accrued V.I.B. bonus dollars. You can also call the toll-free number on the back of your V.I.B. card or scan your V.I.B. card in-store at any price checker.

I am not a current Babies"R"Us Registrant. Can a gift giver still add funds to my V.I.B. card online?

Yes, a gift giver can add funds to your V.I.B. card online, but they must have your complete V.I.B. number handy during the transaction. For in-store loads, the gift giver must have your actual card with them to be scanned at the register.

Does the money added to the V.I.B. card by gift givers and cardholders expire after a certain period? Do bonus dollars expire?

Funds added to a V.I.B. card by gift givers and cardholders do not expire. However, bonus dollars added to a V.I.B. card expire after 12 months, if unused. Each time a V.I.B. card is used to make a purchase, the bonus dollars will be applied first, so there is no worry about the bonus dollars expiring.
