I bought this for my almost 6 month old. She's average height and weight and when I put her in the seat, her toes barely touched the platform even in the highest position. And her top half was almost falling out of it. It was as if the seat was too shallow. If it had another inch or two it would be perfect, but I was nervous about her toppling out of it. By the time her legs had grown long enough to touch the platform, her top half would be too tall for it, and she would fall out. The design is not good, which is too bad because I thought the price was fair, and it took up only a small amount of floor space. I plan to return it for a different brand/ model.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Pros- it's so much smaller than other stationary entertainers. It's great in my small home as it doesn't take up much floor space. The small size also means it's easy to pick up and get through a standard doorway. I've use it to have baby sit with me on the front porch, in the laundry room while I'm doing laundry, in the kitchen while I'm cooking, etc. I like that baby sits higher up than other products, as it keeps the dog from getting in her face. There aren't as many toys as larger products, but it's easy to attach more.

Cons: Despite the name, it doesn't really bounce. The seat is immobile and the only motion is from baby pushing his/her feet on the platform that is attached by stretchy cords. My mother has an older-style Exersaucer at her home that is on springs, so baby really can bounce and jump up and down. While my daughter likes our Bright Starts one fine, she really gets into the spring-mounted one.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I love how it has a jumpy on the bottom baby goes crazy in it!!Stays in it for an hour at a time love it!!!
