Multi-position mechanism, locks in 6 different positions allows for great reading & T.V. viewing. Lock also makes it easy to sit in, or step out of the Glider.       I Take care of many children and this glider is perfect for calming little ones fears or BooBoo's. The seat is very large so my little weiner dog can sit with me and one of my grand children. I would buy it again!
