My 7 year old was excited to get this and it looked like a good idea, but be aware there are only 15 color changing beads and 145 non color changing beads. The craft is to change the colors of the beads, why wouldn't there just be color changing beads?

My daughter saw the commercial for this product and wanted to try it out. Once we figured out that the water had to be very hot and VERY cold to make it work, my daughter and her friend haven't stopped playing with it. a lot of color changing toys only change the color for a little while, but this changes it indefinitely until you use the opposite temperature water. VERY FUN and I highly recommend.

My girls wanted this, and we got it as a gift. First off, loved that it was easy to put together. Then, once we read the directions and put ice in the cold water, it was hours of fun. Even I sat there and played...We loved every moment. This is now the new gift to give her friends. So exciting to see the creations, and the best part, no mess. Just water :)

I was skeptical that this could live up to the magic I saw on the commercial, but I gave in to my daughter's nagging and it paid off. This "toy" really is phenomenal. The results are super cool and my daughter and her friends have been making and remaking designs all weekend. They called over the neighbors and everyone is oohing and ahhing.

My daughter wanted this after seeing it on tv. It looks fun, but we can't really tell because the pieces that you are supposed to color with the water are missing from the box. We thought it was a fluke so we returned to store for an exchange, came home, same thing! Should have checked it in the store. She is very disappointed.

I bought this jewelry design maker for my four and a half year old daughter. After reading the instructions carefully, I followed them to a tee. The pendant changed color very little but the beads did not change color at all. Even running them under warm water on the faucet for a minute didn't change them. The only good thing that came out of it was that at least my daughter can make herself cute jewelry. Honestly I think that the makers of this product should either discontinue selling it or recall the product as it does not do what it claims to do. I'm still keeping it so she can at least make herself jewelry. I don't have the heart to return it since she would be upset if I did but I'd return it in a hearbeat if it wasn't for my daughter liking the jewelry. Don't waste your hard earned money buying this product. It doesn't even do what it says it does. You can bet that I will not be the only parent that will write a bad review after buying this.
