I first used these when my daughter got a horrible disposable diaper rash and I needed to air out her little booty. When I made the switch to full-time cloth diapers, I did not go with these as my inserts. They are not absorbent enough, not good enough to use as diapers. Instead, I used them as nursing pads. I produced A LOT of breastmilk and the typical reusable nursing pads could not keep me from leaking onto my clothes. I would fold these into a square to place one in each cup of my bra or would fold into a rectangle and have it cover both breasts at once. They did add some bulk, so if you are already big in that area you may want to cut them in half and then fold them up to use. They held up fairly well since they were constantly washed and dried.

I thought I was getting your normal quilted flat diaper to use as a burp cloth. These are basically see-through. Agree with other comments that they shrink and aren't really even quality enough to use as a cleaning rag. Babies R Us should discontinue this product.

I bought these yesterday and threw them in the wash. When I took them out of the dryer all but one had shrunk to 16" by 18". Their labeled size on the package is 24"x27"!! They were hardly even rectangles, having shrunk very unevenly. I feel deceived by having one nice diaper on the outside of the package and cheap, awful diapers hidden inside the package. I am returning these today to buy Gerber brand flats. I strongly do NOT recommend!
