        Comments about Babies R Us 1011187 Babies R Us By Design White Spindle Lamp Base:

        The lamp base itself is made of resin not wood so it is fairly heavy but sturdy. The style of this lamp base is nice and simple without being too plain. The problem comes when you try to buy a shade. BRU website says that by purchasing this lamp (without a shade) it allows the consumer to customize their nursery or bedroom. What isn't stated is that its a Euro Uno Style fitting that is not found in the USA or online. This fitting type is found mostly on imported lamps. The standard Uno style shades found at your local store will not fit this lamp base. SO its a pointless lamp base to buy if you cant find a shade that fits!
