I bought 2 of these for Christmas presents, one for my 14 month old Daughter and one for my friends little boy. Lets start with the shipping of the product... they came in boxes that were not only beat to heck, but one of them had cigarette ashes in it! Both ponies came with batteries but because they were shipped with the box in the ON position, all the batteries were dead. One of the horses did not work after I had replaced the batteries. The other horse came with 2 2inch tears in the underbelly of the horse. The bases are not well thought out, since they hardly have any "rocking" to it. It moves only a couple inches either way. I would never recommend these to anyone.

I bought this for my son who was 16 months old at the time, he absolutely loved it! It's very small, but that's perfect for anyone under the age of two. I can't imagine he'll still fit on it in another year, let alone two even though it says it can hold kids up to 40 pounds. It's also very light, which isn't so bad as it seems sturdy enough when he's riding it, but it's light enough for him to carry around, can't be more than five pounds (probably only two pounds).

The most unfortunate part about it, though, is the buttons wore out within a month. We replaced the batteries, so I'm sure it's not that, but the horse no longer sings or says anything, which was honestly my son's favorite part about it. Perhaps the craftsmanship isn't up to par for very young children who pinch a button just a little too hard. It gets three stars because I got it for a great price during the holiday sales, if not for that it would be rated much lower.

I returned this product because it was smaller than what I was looking for, but I would have returned it anyway because it had a hole in the back where you could see the stuffing. The hole was big enough to fit a finger into. I'm sure it was a one-time problem, but I was not impressed.

Both of my year old grandsons enjoyed rocking on these horses, easy on and off, and they enjoyed hearing them talk and sing when we squeezed their ears!

My daughter loved this pony when she received it on Christmas day. She is 15 months old and it is the perfect size for her. My just 3 year old daughter is much too big for it, despite the age recommendation of 3-4 years. However, this morning while my little one was playing with this horse, she managed to get her foot stuck between the 2 back rungs of the bottom plastic rocking mechanism while climbing on. Thankfully I was right there. She was legitimately stuck and screaming while I tried for quite some time to get her out. She now has a large red welt around her ankle. I'll be returning this item.

We bought this for my daughter two years ago, and she is still playing with it! The buttons on the ears no longer play music/talk - otherwise I'd give it five stars!

I bought the Rockin Rider plush Thunder Horse for my Grandson for Christmas. The horse arrived in a large box by itself, not in the box it shows in the stores. There were batteries in the horse that did not work, so I put new batteries in the horse and it still does not work. It seems to me that this toy may have been a return and shipped out to me. My wife at this time is going to the Massapequa NY store to exchange the Horse. When you buy things online you expect them to work to save a trip to the store. Now we have to go to the store anyway and that defeates the purpose. We also bought an electric car that I will have to charge to see if it works, if not I will have to bring that back.
