Cute till you turn it on. The paint shows up where it was not evenly coated on the causing it to have dark, light, and streaky areas. The prongs to insert into the outlet are great because you can turn the base (prongs) sideways. So no matter where or how your outlet is set up the night light will fit.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The nightlight is cute but very bulky and gives off a very low glow, not bright enough for children who are scared of the dark. It also arrived cracked.

This nightlight is super cute, and I love the glow it gives off. She loves that it is bright enough to scare away any "ghosts", and I appreciate that it is bright enough that I can check on her while safely navigating the toys on her floor! But, it is a soft enough light that she falls to sleep with it no problem. I am glad I got it.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
