Of the whole fresh squeezed line, I love this part the best! I have no suggestions for improvement. For anyone who has an older baby that still needs some fruits/veggies steamed, this is your product! Until I recieved this product I had to get out the pan and metal steaming basket every day to steam my son's fruit/veggie for his meals. Now that I have this I can do it right in the microwave, no need for a pan or the stove. SOOOOO EASY! I would recommend this over and over!

I don't see the point in this product. I thought it would be convenient for making single food portions but the smusher doesn't smush, it just pushes the food to the sides of the bowl. I found smushing food to be much easier with a fork and any kind of bowl. Will be returning this as soon as I get a chance.

This was one of my favorite items in the collection for use. It is very easy to use, amazing for steaming and smushing to make the perfect puree. It is easy to clean and the right size for storage and use. With the Squeeze Station, I'd highly recommend getting this - as a gift or for yourself! Great durability and construction!

This product is a waste of money. You probably have the makings of this already in your kitchen. Take a bean smasher, small colander, and bowl and...Voila! Your very own Steam & Smush! Don't waste your money.

I didn't realize how great this product would be when I first took it out of the box. It's great for steaming foods to use for the pouches (though of course they will need to go through the peppy puree, too), but it's also good just for steaming small amounts of vegetables for my daughter that I don't plan to puree. The little steam basket is cute and functional. It's not big enough to steam veggies for adult meals, but it is perfect for my little one and nicely sized for travel.

I really like how the Steam and Smush works. This is a great tool to relieve stress! Unfortunately, one of my orange veggies stained the inside of the bowl the first time I used it. It won't come out...even with a scrub, soak, and 3 washes. It still works fine, though; it just doesn't look as nice. What I don't like about this is that it doesn't work well for quickly making larger batches; it only "steams and smushes" enough for one pouch at a time…and you have to wait for each batch in the microwave (if you're doing veggies or apples). I wish this also came in a larger size. If you want to use this instead of steaming a big batch in another container, I'd recommend buying two of the Steam and Smush products so that you can steam in one while you smush in the other. Make sure you have enough liquid for easier "smushing". I found that I still needed to use the Peppy Puree after "smushing" because you can't have any chunks when filling the pouches, and that's difficult to achieve with the Steam and Smush. This product also works well if you have a sleeping baby and don't want to make noise using the Peppy Puree.

Tips for Experimenting with Flavors: I think the best way to experiment with flavor combinations is to puree each fruit/veggie individually, put each in a small bowl, and then stir together combinations in a cup to taste before you make an entire pouch. Make sure you steam and puree apples well; they were the worst at getting clogged.

I was given this product by Infantino to test and review. I love this steamer--I wouldn't change a thing about it, except to make it a tad larger. I use it to steam small batches of fruits and veggies--I would use a larger stove top steam basket when making most of my baby food, but this smaller version is great for when you would like to steam multiple fruits and veggies for making combo batches. For example, if I am making apple, carrot, blueberry, this is great to steam 3 different food types that you would combine to make 1 freezer meal. If you were only going to steam carrots, I would recommend a larger vessel. Its great though, has held up well, and is very convenient to use in the microwave.

This is easy to use and great for making small batches of food. Pop this in the microwave for a few minutes and your ready to mush. Heat safe and it doesn't get super hot. Easy to clean. I have received the Fresh Squeezed Station from Infantino to facilitate my review.
