Great product! I got a lot of use out of this when my girls were babies. Perfect for the little one that wants to sit up to see everything, but isn't strong enough to hold herself up. I ordered this item for a friend with standard shipping and got it within 2 days! Talk about fast shipping! So it came just in time for her baby shower.

Was soooo excited to get my daughter in her Bumbo seat BUT.. by the time she was holding her head up and we were able to use it, her legs didn't fit! She is in the 50% for weight so I think it's absurd that at 3months she had "outgrown" it.. We have purchased the Mamas & Papas seat which now at 5months, still provides her with room to grow in!

Our infant hated this seat. It was too small for him by the time he could actually use it. By the time he could hold his head well enough to use this his legs were too big for the seat. We literally had to peal the seat off of him as his legs were stuck. There also isn't enough back support for your infant. Since he could hold his head up we assumed sitting up straight would be fine but it was difficult for him and extremely hard to do with no back support. I wish we hadn't been convinced to buy this product.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
