I recieved two sets of these walkie talkies. I ordered them two days ago and we've had terrible icy weather and yet they came in today. As of today, I am excited. I did not expect them to have a NOAA setting which is so useful. We periodically have to evacuate into our storm shelter. These will be great to have and portable to keep abreast of what is going on with the storms in our area. I am not sure if I even want the children to "play" with them anymore even though they were bought for them. So far they work great and are easy to use and have good reception. It is horrible outside so we won't get to check the range until the winter storm passes, but we'll get to keep our ears on the storm with our little weather radios. Ha! Only gave 4 stars because we just got them an hour or so ago.
