I just bought this for my 4 month old son and he loves it! He needs light and noise to fall asleep so this was a perfect buy. I am thinking about buying one myself. It is very peaceful and relaxing.

We had added this item to our registry, and received it as a gift. It has been one of our favorites!

When on, it's bright enough to act like a night light, while soft and "tranquil" enough to fall asleep to. We often put this on with the sound of the waves turned on also. We use this every night! I've had family members who have seen it say that they want to buy one just for themselves, even without a baby! It's adorable and it's soothing.

The turtle's torso is hard, so it isn't completely "plush", and I do not believe it's intended to be in bed with the child (shouldn't have plush animals in with a small infant anyways) - it does well on a nearby table, or while you are watching them. It does well at lighting up the entire ceiling though.

The only con I've really had is because we love it, and use it so often, is that it's beneficial to have back up batteries with you. When the batteries get low, the light will turn on and off - this is NOT a short, it's not broken, it's simply a signal to replace the batteries. Also when the batteries get low, you may notice a dimming of the lights when it's on the movement selection.

I think this is going to be loved for years to come!

We love this, everyone in our family uses it to relax. I wish I could take this to the dentist with me. The waves and music are the most tranquil. At first our 7mo would be more awake when this was on but now we turn it on for his last bedtime bottle and he drifts off watching waves and listing to the music. Can also play just waves. I think it only stays on for 21 minutes but he is already asleep by then. The only thing I would like to add is a plug to make it a night light that can stay on all night. I wish I had bought this sooner.

I was a little hesitant when buying this product because of the price but it is totally worth it! It literally projects the entire room & it is a fairly large room too. The water is very realistic and it is very calming. The spa music is perfect and I like how you can adjust the volume to your desired level. I want one for myself and would be perfect in the bathroom when relaxing in the tub. lol

This is a beautiful and soothing nightlight for the kids' room and delivers everything it says. The waves on the walls and ceiling truly create a realistic ocean experience. Easy -- Works right out of the box. I liked it so much I want one for myself!

My mom bought this for me to use in my daughter's nursery. It's kind of expensive but it is WELL worth it! It projects a beautiful rippling water scene on the ceiling and has very soothing ocean wave sounds or soothing music. My daughter loved it the first night we used it. It really helps her fall asleep. There was another constellation turtle that was a little cheaper but I liked the color and options of the tranquil turtle. It also automatically shuts off after like 23 minutes so you don't have to worry about going back into the nursery to shut it off.

Yes, this turtle is a little pricey, but it's totally worth it! I got it thinking it would simply project a stationary water pattern on the ceiling, but was pleasantly surprised to find that the lights inside the turtle shell move to create a decently realistic water ripple pattern all around my daughter's room. She absolutely loves it! It has an on/off button on the top for the lights, another switch to make the water "move" or stay still, and a final button to turn on wave sounds, no sounds, or soothing spa type music with waves. We use the moving waves and the song with waves sounds and it is so relaxing, I want want for my room. Pricey, but worth it!
