My husband and I bought this for our 6 year old daughter for her birthday. It lasted exactly 3 days before breaking. DON'T BUY THIS... get her a karaoke machine.

Horrible product, took it home and set it up for my 2 year old who is obsessed with singing and mics. The problem is we can't even hear her sing because the mic and speaker can't get far enough away from each other to avoid ear piercing feedback. The instructions say "place microphone as far away from the speaker as possible... but the cord is only a foot and a half long. Pulled all the way away from the speaker still isn't far enough. We returned this ASAP.

I was very disappointed with this product. For the price it's very cheaply made. Exchanged the first one because the microphone didn't work. Now I'm taking back the second one because this microphone also doesn't work which upsets me because my daughter is disappointed all over again.

the microphone is adorable, but it's made of light plastic, so it can break easily. The sound quality is horrible but my 6 year old doesn't mind. I would pay a little more for a better quality mic if your little one has singing potential.
