Daughter loves it, batteries hard 2 find

My daughter loves playing vet & groomer with it. The EKG did scare her a bit when it kept going and going, so maybe that sound could have been done a little different. The battery fiasco is ridiculous and was extremely frustrating trying to find any at all! I would love to know where everyone else found theirs, b/c we couldn't find that size at any retailer in Virginia Beach. I was about to order some online, but thought to check the dollar store first. I recalled seeing button cell batteries there before. They were out of that size, but normally carry them. I was wandering around the store, and as I passed the isle with all the book lights and flash lights, batteries that came with the book lights caught my eye… yes, we bought 3 book lights and scavenged the batteries for the pet center. I feel for those spending $50 on batteries, when we only paid three dollars.

Super cute toy for young girl - my 5 year old loves it. cute colors, good size, and. Only bummer is that it takes special batteries that run about $5.00 a piece and you need 9 of them!!!! Batteries cost as much as the toy did! A couple of the pieces didn't work with new batteries - cell phone and hair dryer but I called the number on the instruction booklet and they said they would send out new ones at no charge - so just waiting for them to arrive.

Santa found the one toy that was exactly what my 3 year old daughter didn't know she wanted. She loved it! Good job Santa. But, dear Santa, I did not know that I needed all those batteries that were NOT INCLUDED. I've never gotten a toy that needed so many tiny batteries that were not included. But we are using our imaginations for the sound effects.

            Requires 9 cell batteries - not included! I spent $30 in batteries for this toy and the items that require batteries do not even do anything exciting. Very disappointed! But I'm sure my aspiring vet will love it anyway because she has a great imagination. If I didn't realize these batteries were going to cost so much on christmas eve I would have returned the toy but now its to late to return it and find something else from the guy in red.
