I first bought this product in the store and it had several broken boards that were part of the frame work. I returned it and I was sent another one. This one had 3 pieces of wood that were cracked. This takes a while to construct and does not fit together well. I glued the boards together to make it work for our kids becuase I did not want to return it AGAIN.

Okay, this is hard to put together. The holes don't line up on some parts and you MUST follow the picture (directions are difficult). HOWEVER...this is a functional and perfect piece for a child's playroom or even a family room (we leave it assembled). WHY?? There is a dry erase board on one side, chalkboard on another. There is a paper roll at the top for drawing. Many cup holdes for painting and bins at the bottom. The wood stain is NOT supposed to match evenly, it's a wood stain. It is so much better than the plastic versions and it is simply gorgeous. My son does not want to write or draw etc...This reminds him of school and he WANTS to write on it. From an OT perspective, writing upwards is good, more engaging, develops better muscles/strength in arms etc..for me, it's MOTIVATIONAL!!!

I ordered one for Christmas because my grandkids love the one I have for about five years. Received at Christmas time, no hardware whatsoever, looked like it was already opened. Returned it, waited a while and ordered another one. Received it today. Took it out of the box, easel was warped, some food was all over the board, looked like it was thrown in and returned to Toys R Us and they taped it up and sent it on to someone else. Not a good thing. As far as the product goes, very good, as far as the total product if that is the way they are making the easels now, not very good. Need to do something about the way they handle their products.

Nice idea, but terrible design and poor quality. Parts didn't fit together well and had to go without certain features because they just didn't work. Don't bother with this.

It was not constructed correctly and that made assembling it very difficult. My husband had to cut holes to make it work and it doesn't look the best now. Frustrating!

This product is very poorly made. Stain is not even, wood surface is rough in a lot of places, lots of knicks in wood due to poor packaging, and the trim around the chalkboard came cracked. Instructions were very confusing. I could not buy this in a store so it was ordered online. With previous bad experiences returning stuff to Toys R Us for online purchses we didn't even try to return this. Very disappointed!!

After the 4th one - all damaged, missing pieces etc I gave up. We even opened 3 at the store location, all were missing pieces or damaged.

Perfect for my little 5 year old budding artist! She is able to store all of her supplies in one place, and they're right where she needs them when she's ready to create!

The box arrived partially opened and also looked like it hadn't been sealed correctly in the first place. It actually appeared that the product had been opened, partially assembled, and put back into the box because the packaging was askew. The wood was chipped and splintering. I had to put it back in the box to return it but since I don't have time to go to the nearest Toys R Us it's been in my garage for two week until I can go return it. This may be a decent product but I wouldn't know because the one I got was such a (possibly used) piece of junk.

Had to return first east because legs were drilled incorrectly for screws but once we did that putting easel together was no problem. Wood finish could have been much nicer not sanded or stain very well. Wood was rough & stain didn't look very nice in those areas. For this reasaon only gave it 3 stars. What counted is my granddaughter was super happy & began using it the moment it arrived.
