I bought this stroller for my newborn son. It is very difficult to open. The canopy comes off every time I open the stroller. It is very difficult to adjust the straps. The stroller is heavy.

Comments about Chicco Liteway Plus Stroller - Pulse:

Very easy to use with my Rattania key fit 30 car seat, was a little concerned the pattern/color doesn't match but it's not that noticeable. It's very easy to push with the car seat attached. Before going out with it, I attached the car seat at home to test it - the car seat did not "click" in place I tried it a few times and decided I would still keep it. However the first time using it out side the car seat "clicked/ locked" onto the stroller the sound is not that audible but you will know it's locked because you can't remove the car seat. I am very pleased with this stroller. It glides on surfaces, doesn't take up much room in the trunk or the back seat of my car. The color is not a bright red, kind of soft color, not pink not coral, It feels very sturdy. It is a little heavy but that's due to the quality of the material.

Comments about Chicco Liteway Plus Stroller - Pulse:

I have thoroughly enjoyed having this stroller. It is both easy to take from the trunk to the pavement and from the pavement to the trunk. Everything on this stroller makes a clicking noise so you know that you have locked into place (which is a great feature when using it with the Chicco Keyfit 30 Carrier). So far I have only used it with the infant carrier, but this stroller has done great in a mall and pavement setting. It has been a great replacement for the full size Chicco Cortina for my smaller trunk (Acura TSX). Instead of taking up every inch of space I had available, this stroller takes up an area of approx 12"x12"x60" or half of the bigger stroller(this is my guesstimate so don't quote me!)The only issues at all that I have had is that the front wheels will get stuck in a direction (just like most all strollers) but this is VERY infrequent and the canopy could be a little more sturdy. All in all, it is a wonderful stroller though, and I would absolutely recommend it if you are a fan of the Chicco brand. The convertable nature of the stroller really makes it desirable because you can use it from newborn until the toddler years. I'm the type of person who believes it is worth the initial investment in one good product instead of having to buy 2-3 okay products.

Comments about Chicco Liteway Plus Stroller - Pulse:

I have been eyeing this since the day it came out. I have a Chicco Rattania and used to use the Caddy (will review that later). I loved the caddy, but now that my baby is almost six months, he started to dislike being in his carseat. After seeing this at a competitor store, I wanted it. The color does not match my carseat, but it has everything I need.

I needed a stroller that would lay flat. I like the idea of being able to change my baby's diaper on it instead of going to those filthy diaper changers. He can also sleep if he needs to. The straps are wide and soft. It can be adjusted. Some strollers adjust by unclipping it, but this one is flat so the baby doesn hit the clip. Though, the adjuster is right on his head right now, but no biggie.

It also needed to fit in my small sedan trunk. This fits in there, but diagonal. It folds like an umbrella stroller, so taking it in and out is a breeze.

The fold is a bit tricky. With sandals, I could not just lift the latch up to fold. I always have to bend and lift with my hand.

To open is easy, but the wheels are skidded outwards, but the rubber looks durable.

To interchange it from a carseat carrier to toddler seat is easy. About 5 steps of zippering, lockimg, etc.

The handle bars are padded. I am 4'11" and since the handles are curved, it can accomodate taller people.

Comments about Chicco Liteway Plus Stroller - Pulse:

I live in two cities and I spend a lot of time on the regional trains and Amtrak. My main issue with my Safety 1st Orion Travel system is (1) my daughter outgrew the car seat 3 months ago and (2) the stroller is just bulky and heavy when traveling around the city.

So I researched and tried out the MacLaren XLT, the UPPABaby G-Lux, the babies r us brand umbrella stroller, the inglesina and the first generation Chicco Liteway and I had actually given up and was going to buy the UPPABaby just based on reviews since I was unable to find a store that carried it in stock for me to check it out in person.

I had actually written chicco out of the mix all together because the first generation liteway has a very flimsy canopy and it just overall doesn't seem sturdy or durable enough to last through rough usage within the city. Until, I went in the store and something said take another look. I slotted this one. The pictures online don't do it any justice at all, but in person it sticks out first because if the red color, it's like a crimson and it just has a sleekness about it. I pulled it off the shelf and I begin testing it out, putting it through my own rugged test and folding it up one handed and opening it up. It is SUPER sturdy. I am 5"10 and the handle bars are at a great height not to tall not too short and when you put both hands and proceed to push it just has this toughness to it that tells you it will last the test of time.

I also like that it can convert to a travel system without having to buy any additional attachments, its already attached. The back actually unclips and folds forward so that you can sip it to the footrest for a sleeker look and just click the compatible infant cars eat right to it. The cupholder is very sturdy. It holds a coffee thermoset just fine. It is very easy to assemble, the front wheels just click on which is great for air travel when storing it in the travel bag (cost about $50 or so, if your am avid plane traveler like myself) and the canopy clips to the frame and zips to the back of the seat. The storage thingy underneath is pretty good for an umbrella sturdy. I own a timmie and Leslie diaper bag that is also a backpack and I overpack a lot and it fits nicely in there or I can just hook it on the handle bars and the stroller won't tip, BIG PLUS!

Overall, I love this stroller. Take it from a mom who googles everything, watches all the reviews on YouTube and reads almost all the reviews on various websites to get an overall view of the products I order. I did my homework and found this to be the best for the money. My daughter is only 1 years old but very big for her age and she is rough for a girl and no problems at all with the stroller. It holds up with airport travel gate check and in the beach. It's super easy to carry in the folded position or you can just pull it like you would a suitcase. Another plus is the seat part is easy to remove for cleaning purposes, but a damp cloth will also do the trick or a small cleaning brush if trying to get out a stain.

I think I covered it all...I hope I did not leave anything out. If your a busy mom and want features of a full size stroller in a umbrella stroller...this is the way to go. It's moderately priced, but with babies r us rewards and 20% off coupons you save in the end.

Comments about Chicco Liteway Plus Stroller - Pulse:

I just bought this stroller a couple days ago from Baby's R Us. We took it to the mall to try it out, and I absolutely love it! I already have a Chicco Keyfit 30 carseat, and I wanted a lightweight stroller that would fold down compactly and could carry my infant seat along with a big enough basket to carry all my stuff in. the carseat "clicks" into the stroller, so you know its secure. We looked at a few different models before we ultimately decided on this one. Most of the lightweight strollers seemed too flimsy, and it was hard to find one that I could put an infant carrier in. And if they had any sort of basket at all, the frame of the stroller blocked access to it. This stroller has a decent size basket that is easy to get to, and is easy to convert from a stroller seat to an infant carrier, all you have to do is flip the seat forward.
It seems to be adequately padded and also has removable shoulder padding on the harness. It reclines almost completely flat, which I also like.
The only con I can think of is that the front wheels don't glide left to right quite as smoothly as my last stroller. But I imagine a little wd-40 would fix that problem.
Overall I am very happy with this stroller. It has just what I need, a compact "umbrella" type fold, it's lightweight, and it carries my infant carrier.
