Thumpback is awesome!! he is very powerful and has tons of health! Get him if you get the chance! Be sure to take his anchors a-yay path, too. It makes him unstoppable!!!

I can't use it yet because I don't have the game for it yet.
It does however look super cool.

It would be a lot better if the skylanders were more talkative.

First off, I'm gonna say that in-game he is *HUGE*. And I mean it too. In fact, he's so big that he's *kinda* hard to use in the game. But here is the pro's and cons:

PROS:
*Has a very good long range attack
*Has a attack that is a "belly slide" that boosts his speed and also runs over enemies.
*Like any other Giant, he lights up on the Portal of Power when places (without the need of batteries!).
*The figure itself is *really* detailed. I have to say, he is one of the most detailed Skylanders figures I have (I have like 32 Skylanders).

CONS:
*Kinda hard to use in game because how big he is.

So basically:
He's a *really* good Skylander. He has a nice long-range attack, a "biting" attack (for those of you who are Pac-Man fans), and a nice sliding attack that can help a lot with speed. However, he is pretty slow & he is just *way* too big in-game (so big that he has trouble getting into the nooks and crannies of Flynn's ship!). Other than that, he's pretty good.

Kids got him and Eye Brawl together and love Thumpback. They often have to play rock, paper, scissors to decide who get to play him. He's a lot of fun and has an impressive reach for his attack.

Let me just get this straight Thumpback is awesome and HUGE. when you place on the portal of power and see him in the game for the first time you're taken aback because of his size he bareley fits in the door to the game room on the ship. Then when you test out his attacks your'e also surprised because when he swings his anchor around it has awesome range and does a lot of damage to enemies and his secondary attack is a BELLLY FLOP and that also does a lot of damage. Over all he is very detailed and has cool upgrades and is fun to play with

Thumpback is really cool because he spits out water and star fish. He gets to throw his anchor around in a circle and swipe out all the bad guys. He's a really fun toy! If you get him in the water, he is a really fun swimmer. He goes under water.

Thumpback is awesome. The figure is superb--very detailed colors and parts. His arm barnacles light up on the portal. In-game, he is so big that he has trouble getting into the nooks and crannies of Flynn's ship. He seems to take up a lot space, like Tree Rex. My son finds him hard to drive, so I play him. His B-Attack belly slide adds speed for heroic challenges, again, like Tree Rex's charge. Thumpback's A-attack with the anchor does lots of damage at a distance. Power-ups make him even tougher and more fun (chomp!). Cool-looking, fun to play, very powerful right out of the box, with strong power-ups that are also pretty funny. GREAT CHARACTER!
CON(?): The figure shows seams on his head that make me nervous that a solid whack/drop would knock it off, but we've had it for three weeks w/ no damage.
When you see him, buy him. He is a ton of fun.
