Use - The ukulele was bought for my daughter.

Good - the wooden parts seem good enough

Bad - Basically, I was trying to "tune" the instrument. It proved to be impossible, because the machine heads that you tighten the strings down with are unusable. You cannot twist them like you're supposed to. A single screw holds each to the head piece. To loosen the string you have to loosen the screw holding the knob then hope string doesn't instantly unravel. To tighten the string you have to twist the knob and try and hold it there while tightening the screw on the knob. To top it off, I ended up stripping the stupid screws trying to tune it. Each string ends up having the same tension because of the machine heads/knobs just don't work.

In the end, I have a junk ukulele where each string is playing the same note, because each string has the same tension since the machine heads/knobs just don't work!

Was very excited to get this for my grandson. After it arrived I opened it and checked the strings. It was cheaply made and would not tune. The tuning keys would not wind so the strings were tight. I took it back to the store and got the Mickey Mouse mini guitar which is much better and even the plastic strings tuned well. Save yourself headaches and don't buy this in the first place.

I bought this item for my niece for christmas, I wanted to tune it before I wrapped it. We were excited becuase the strings were real and not made of fishing line you usually see on kids guitars and ukulele's. However after tightening 2 of the 4 strings they would imediatly come loose as soon as we strumed the guitar. We noticed a crack in one of the dowls that would make it permanatly unable to keep tightened, but we don't understand why the other string keeps loosening up. If you don't mind how the ukulele sounds this item would be just fine but we wanted the strings to at least stay tight.
We returned it for a hello kitty ukulele instead, it has fishing wire for string and is bigger then we would have liked, but at least it stays tuned.

Was very excited to get this inexpensive guitar for my 2 1/2 year old grandson who won't keep his hands off my guitar. Wrong!! I didn't expect much for the price, but the strings wouldn't tune and when you tighten the strings they didn't tighten well and slipped after a certain point. This is going back to the store today!!

I purchased this for my 2 year old since he loves playing with my dad's guitar (ie i'm trying to limit liability just incase). I got it in the mail today and I'm amazed. For the price, it is an amazing deal. The turning keys do have to be tightened with a screwdriver after shipping since they're loosened to prevent the strings from breaking I would assume, but after that it's absolutly amazing. It's VERY realistic, I even have been messing around with it and getting relativly good sounding music (I don't have a tuner so it's not gonna be perfect lol). This is a MUST have for any children who absolutly LOVE music like my son does. The absolute only thing I would change is the quality of the strings (they're just the cheap strings so the sounds is kinda tinny) but my son's young enough he doesn't care and that's a VERY easy adjustment to make. <3 It way to go Imaginerium!! This product would not be good for children who haven't learned control or to minimly take care of their stuff because there are pieces that could easily break off. I would also not recomment this for young special needs children - maybe 8 at the youngest depending on the disability.
