Big Backyard warrants their products free from defect in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. All pressure treated lumber is warranted for 10 years against rot and insect damage. All other parts, such as, hardware, swings, ride accessories, slides, canopies and non-pressure treated wood carry a one year warranty only. ?

Ordered online, and it was shipped via Estes freight. When it finally arrived the box with all the wood was ripped wide open. Upon inspecting, there were several pieces cracked from the shipper stacking other orders on top of it (still waiting for replacements, and it was a hassle getting them ordered). I was still able to assemble the set by myself without monkey bars in 4 and a half hours. The set itself is very nice,and the kids love it. The only reason I rate it so low is because the shipping was so horrible. I would suggest if you get it find a store that has it available for pick up.

You definitely need to have some sort of knowledge about putting things together. My husband is very handy and he even said you need an engineering degree to put this together. But he worked on it a little bit each night and had it up and working after just 4 nights. It will need to be treated each year as I can see some rough spots already. Our daughter is only 1 but she loves it. We'll have many more years to put this to good use.

This is a great play set! My husband and two friends started at 10am and were done before dinner. Both of my kids love it (they are 4 and 1 1/2). I did buy a liner to put down before I put the sand in and used 6 (50lb) bags of sand to fill it up. We also replaced one of the swings with a baby swing for my younger child. Overall for the money it is very good.

This swing set was pretty easy to put together. We had one person "pick" the parts for each step, and 2 put them together. Takes a while to do, but considering you only have to build this once and the kids will play on it for a long long time, it's not too bad on assembly time. Only downfall (for us) is that the glider was too high up for my kiddos to each. Easily remidied with some more chain from the local hardware store.
