Soon to arrive grandchild. After 6 grandchildren we have been through numerous infant seats. Some easy, some more difficult to put into the car and to remove from the car. After so many our old infant seats were getting worn out and the new technology on this appealed to me. This one took less than 5 minutes (including reading the instruction booklet) to put into the car. Extremely easy to latch the base into the seat and the infant seat itself is easy to detach and lift out. I double checked the mechanism for changing the angle of the infant seat and found no problems with it. Is it stiff? Yes, as it should be. However, it locked in place easily once I got the hang of it and just pulled a little harder (after all I am 65). I highly recommend this seat to anyone who has a newborn on the way.

OMG this is seriously the easiest car seat to install. I did it in a matter of seconds! I feel my baby is totally safe and comfortable in this car seat. Love the recline and multiple positions. Super padded and comfy fabrics with an adjustable head rest and no harness to re-threading. The carrier itself has a great handle and is light weight. This is my second child and hands down the best infant seat I have seen or ever used. Highly recommend!

With all of the scary things to worry about as a new mom, I stressed about the car seat until I got the Inertia as a shower gift and installed in my car. It is so easy, even my husband could do it. Ha ha. He's not a handyman and easily frustrated. We actually bought another one for his car. I am telling all of my prego friends about the Inertia. It rocks.

After researching this seat, my husband and I headed to the store to buy one. We played with the model in the store and were more impressed. However, when we bought one and opened it up, the recline adjustment button moved freely without actually engaging. We exchanged the seat for the same thing, figuring we just had the random dud. Second seat, same problem. We'll be getting a different seat this time.

i would only trust my babies to a baby trend i love the carseats. i had a flex loc w both my other two babies and when i scene this one i knew i had to have it!! I bought it and am now awaiting baby! it is light weight and easy to get n and out of base! the positioner is easy to adjust. and its super safe when it comes to accidents because it moves! fits n my suv very good! overall its just AMAZING!!! will never use anything else! Safety First!!

I have tried two seats and the seat recline handle does not work on either. I called Baby Trend and a "tech" told me to turn it so the latch connectors are on the floor with the recline button facing the ceiling, step on the seat and pull up while pushing the button in. He laughed when I referenced the video that shows a woman easily changing the seat position. I have pushed, pulled and pried in every direction and can not get this to budge. I also took it to my local health department and had 3 car seat trained professionals look at it and agreed it does not work.

We had the Eddie Bauer carseat and stroller combo before this one. We were satisfied with it but we saw this one in store and it just amazed my husband and I. The safety features are second to none in our opinion. The inertia bar is awesome. We live in a small town and sometimes we travel but mainly our little man was only in the car for short trips around town. But now we have to travel 2 hours away to the big city once a week to bring our 5 month old to physical therapy. We looked back and forth at our carseat and this one a few times and we felt that if we got into a wreck, god forbid, his poor little head and neck would get knocked around a lot more in the Eddie Bauer than in the baby trend! So we bought it on the spot and switched him out in the parking lot of the store. So, safety is top notch. The ease of carry with the triangle handle is great. It's also lighter than the Eddie Bauer. The LATCH system is way better on this one because you just push it in and it connects. And to take it out, there are release buttons to press. Similar to seatbelt releases. With others the have the manual clips and those are a pain in the real to take out. The only downfall is that they're in a set position, so you have to put it on one side or the other. You can't place it in the middle like we were doing with the clip in LATCH system. Also, the straps are cool, to adjust the strap height, there is a turn dial in the back. So that means no more flipping it over and "relacing" it as I call it.

I've never seen a car seat like this or used one as easy as this. I can tell that my baby is resting easily and she is really comfortable. What I love most about this is the super easy installation. Before I had my baby, I practiced using car seats when I baby sat for my niece and nephew and every time I had to take them out or put them back in, it was an ordeal. With the inertia, it's like popping it in and taking the car seat with me when I need to go.

I just got this cars seat and I love all the new features it has. I was so happy that baby r us was selling it early. My daughter is 4 months and big for her age and it fits her great. I only wish it had more room so she could use it longer or they made it when she was first born. I have not seen any car seat like this. It is easy to instal and comfortable and most of all safe for her.
