We love this computer. I us it for everyday computing. My 11 year old brother use it to do his school work.And he has been making his on music cd.Because it has a built in burner.This product has been the best.Enjoying it to the fullest.

I bought this computer for my wife for her school work. We were looking for a small netbook at first, but she needed a dvd drive and most of them didn't include that, and she didn't want to lug around an external. I came across this and couldn't find a reason NOT to buy it... so we did and it has been great so far. Works well for what she needs it for.

Great machine for the daily user.
4 GB DDR3/320 GB HDD/wireless/DVD burner/camera & mic all for under $300.00 what a deal.
I use it mostly for email & web surfing.
I love the scroll bar on the touch pad, makes it much easier to use without a mouse.The separate number keys on the right side of the keyboard are a bonus too, especially on a laptop under 17".
I don't have a single complaint about it so far.

While Toys R Us was not necessarily my first thought when I decided to purchase a new laptop; after doing a a pretty exahustive research on-line I narrowed it down to just about them as the only ones with the highest value per dollar laptop you can find out there.

Unlike others that offer a refurbished laptop in a similar price, this is a brand new, fully equipped, high powered laptop. It features 4gb of RAM (my personal favourite), decent size HD, Windows 7 and all the other basic stuff and more I needed for a no-competition price.

As a programmer I need to run relatively heavy-weight applications and I needed a robust machine that can run without hanging every 10 seconds like my previous laptop.

After I received my new Acer I put it to the test and I must say that it's worth every penny of it.

My only minor complaint is that the laptop comes loaded with a bunch of unnecessary software that does nothing but taking away from your valuable RAM and resources and make your computer slower so I would highly recommend of uninstalling them the second you have a chance.

Otherwise, like I said, a great product very much worth buying.

The price was cheaper than anyone else. Who would think of buying a laptop from Toys R Us? The exact same computer was $150 more.

Acer is a great prodeuct especially with Intel.
