The BRITAX BOULEVARD 70-G3 convertible car seat accommodates children rear facing from 5 to 40 pounds and forward facing from 20 to 70 pounds. The BOULEVARD 70-G3 is purposefully designed and engineered to minimize the forward movement of your child's head during a frontal impact to reduce the risk of head injury with the following revolutionary BRITAX head safety technologies:

• Base with SafeCell Technology designed to compress in a crash,
• Integrated Steel Bars
• Energy Absorbing Versa-Tether
• HUGS Chest Pads with SafeCell Technology

The BOULEVARD 70-G3 also incorporates BRITAX True Side Impact Protection for advanced protection in the most severe types of crashes with an extra layer of energy-absorbing EPP foam that contains the head, neck and body while keeping them ?in true? or aligned. The five-point harness is tangle-free with an EZ-buckle system to retain the harness buckle in a forward position while harness holders that keep harness straps pulled to the sides to make boarding quick and hassle-free. Other features include a no-rethread harness and an easy-remove cover that also allows access to belt paths from the front of the seat, while the multiple buckle and recline positions, comfort pads, and infant body pillow provide premium comfort and positioning.

This carseat stays exactly where you place it. Much sturdier than my infant seat. LOVE the brand. I will NEVER own another carseat, unless it is a BRITAX. Cannot complain. Some reviewers may say that the fact that the carseat is not lightweight is a con; however, I see the carseat being heavier as a pro. Who cares if you have to do some extra lifting for EXTRA PROTECTION? I feel MUCH safer when my child is secured in this carseat. This will be a purchase you will not regret. THE CADILLAC OF CARSEATS :)

We purchased this same car seat awhile back for my daughter and now we needed a new one for the baby and bought a second one. We purchased a different brand for my daughter for our second car and were extremely unhappy with it compared to the Britax. It is solid and doesn't move around in the car. We were able to get it tight and the kids find it very comfortable.

This car seat seems well designed, sturdy, attractive and is easy to move from one car to another (took me 3-4 mins). My 13 mo. old daughter seems to prefer sitting in this more upright and roomy seat instead of her infant seat (she's still rear facing). However, I find it a little difficult to loosen/maneuver the harness. I'm always adjusting the little velvet covers over the tops of her shoulders and pushing the "HUGS chest pads with Safe Cell Technology" down so they're not too close to her neck/jawline. Maybe it'll all fit her better when she gets a little bigger.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

We have 2 car seats, the Britax for my car and a cheaper brand in my husband's. My son was NEVER happy riding in the car until we got the Britax. He used to cry the whole time, and we spent long hours on the road trying to make him comfortable. The Britax is so comfortable, and we were able to adjust it to fit him perfectly. It has grown with him over the last 2 1/2 years, and he enjoys car trips so much that he complains when we stop! It's very easy to remove, and it's overall safety rating gives me peace of mind. My only complaint would be that the seat covers aren't machine washable, but they do clean up well with hand-washing. I'm more than pleased with this product, but more importantly so is my son! Highly recommended!!

Great seat... I just wish the plastic part of the shell was a little sturdier, but I honestly didn't find many others that were any better. I researched like crazy before buying and we bought this seat and an Britax Advocate for our two cars. We really like both seats. We also bought a Evenflo for our babysitter to use, but we DO NOT like that seat! Wr feel much safer with our little guy in his Britax seats and we are not using the Evenflo anymore at all.

Great car seat. Fits comfortable in our 2010 Prius and 2006 Honda Civic rear-facing! Our 1 year old loves it more than his infant seat because he can now see outside when taking a drive and doesn't cry anymore when in the car. He also sleeps comfortably in the seat. Installation was simple, already came assembled and set, we just had to adjust the straps. Took about 2 minutes to connect to our car latch.

After LOTS of review reading and consumer recommendations, my husband and I decided to bite the bullet and splurge on a Britax for our, then, 1 year old (he is now 3). This car seat does not disappoint!

The straps are super easy to adjust, the LATCH system is smooth and easy to operate. The height adjustment is so convenient and easy to use. It has rubber on the bottom which is a plus because it grabs to the leather seats. My son is very comfortable in this car seat.

The ONLY con would be that it is heavy, but, to me, this seems like a good thing. It won't be flying around if in an accident.

I would definitely recommend this to EVERYONE... in fact, we are about to buy two more for our one year old!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
