    This is a great little self-contained system. The graphics, of course, aren't as stellar as they are on the 360 or Wii, but my kids have played this far more than the Wii U they received at the same time. The 80 games are entertaining and for me bring back a lot of memories. If I had a complaint, it would be that the wireless controllers are a bit small, and you have to have them pointed directly at the system to work. What I really like though - my old Sega Genesis controllers plug into this, so no batteries are needed. (I'm a big fan of no battery items, and my kids are fine with wired controllers.) So far, it's been a blast for all of us. I haven't tried playing any of my old cartriges yet, because with 80 built in games, we always have something to play!

    I use the product in my bedroom hooked into my TV.
    The games are classic and very nostalgic.
    The console was never designed with red input so you only get white and yellow. The audio sounds flat coming out of your TV and elements of the songs just don't sound right. I did try a splitter and alternatives but that's just the way it was developed. The wireless remotes are super sensitive and must be in line with the infrared reciever on the front of the console or you will lose signal. You can play actual genesis cartridges on it if you can find them or happen to have them laying around. You can also use original Genesis controllers too. I found this at a different retailer for half the price which is all its worth

      The pitch in Sonic the Hedgehog 1 and 2, Comix Zone, and Sonic 3D Blast is 25% lower the usual. If you played Comix zone a lot and your about to play it on the SEGA Genesis Classic Game Console, When the Sega logo loads up you will hear a big difference in the Sega voice (which is suppose to sound like Elvis Presley, but instead it sounds like a slow motion voice). Also its missing Sonic the Hedgehog 3. Why do they have Sonic the Hedgehog 1 and 2 but not 3?

        Pretty good, but retro fans might complain of the sound. Also the wireless isn't really good, so consider buying a wired controller from Amazon or flea market. The wireless version doesn't glitch up as much as the first Arcade Classic because you don't have to keep switching between NTSC and PAL

            I had this "system" back in the box before the first 45 minutes of use. The infared (worst wireless connectivity available BTW) controllers had to be pointed DIRECTLY at the system and at a close range, so say goodbye to that "feature" of wireless Sega. The entire system is a flawed emulator that doesn't even play the right sound or have the right graphics. A lot of the games had checkerboard graphics on half the screen. Terrible price for a terrible unit. STEER CLEAR PEOPLE! I loved Sega and own a Dreamcast...I try to get anything nostalgic available to play based on Sega products...this isn't Sega obviously and isn't nostalgic. Unless you liked wasting money. I don't know why the guy reviewing this before me would have terrible points about the system and rate it with 3 stars, then say "Yes, I would recommend this to a friend." That doesn't make sense.
