The North States Three-in-One Arched Décor Metal Superyard is a six-panel, 144" long enclosure that can be used as an extra-wide gate, a barrier around a fireplace, a portable playard and more. The gate can be used freestanding on carpet, tile, hardwood floors and other surfaces, with rubber feet to prevent scratching, or hardware mounted to stay in place. Adjustable, rotating joints allow you to position the gate in just the right shape to suit your space - position it as a hexagon, and the gate becomes a 30" high freestanding playard that encloses up to 10 sq. ft. to offer children or pets a safe play space. The extra-wide, self-closing door features a childproof double-locking system as well as a hold-open feature for easy access. The gate can be expanded to eight panels (19 sq. ft.) with a two-panel extension kit (available separately), and unlimited panels can be used to create the space you need.

    We have an open floor plan and bought this to gate off between our kitchen and family room. Even though it is a hardware mount it wasn't hard to install. We have it slightly angled and it stays put. It keeps our dogs off our carpet and our little one out of the kitchen. The quality is beautiful. Well worth the money.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
