Comments about Summer Infant Resting Up Napper:

I purchased this online as a gift and had it shipped to my home. I was not pleased that there were four shipping labels on the original box that would not come off without tearing the photo of the item inside. It did not present well as a gift.

Comments about Summer Infant Resting Up Napper:

My son is now 3 months old and we've used this since day 1. He slept in it a night or two when he was a week or two old, but now we use it for him to sit and play in. He looks so comfortable in it and is able to see everything. It folds up nicely so we can take it everywhere with us. At first I was pinching myself when I was folding it up, but then I realized I was doing it all wrong and now it's a breeze and my fingers are spared! The only thing now is my LOs butt seems to almost be hitting the floor when he sits in it!... Hope this will last me another few months at least since he loves it so much. We don't even use the vibration on it... I guess it's comfortable enough for him!

Comments about Summer Infant Resting Up Napper:

I agree with others that this is difficult to fold up and also to clean. It's extremely inconvenient to remove the fabric to wash. It's only a cozy sleep space if you layer thick blankets in it. After only 2 months of use, the one side broke (plastic piece that covers metal frame) when my 4 year-old leaned on it. He is not a big kid! I do not recommend this product!

Comments about Summer Infant Resting Up Napper:

Only thing great about this is that my 2mo old son LOVES it!! He sleeps really well in it, which is the ONLY reason I didn't give it 1 star. I suppose if they improved on the things I REALLY dislike about it, it would be at least a 3 or 4 then!! First thing I don't like - the batteries!! OMG seriously, I have to change them (3 AA) every week, MAYBE week & a half...and I'm using Engergizers too...I thought it was because I used the cheap ones, but nope!! I don't have it on constantly either, def not enough to require changing them that much, and that gets expensive!! Once they start going too, what a pain in the neck...it'll get super hard to turn on, you have to actually take the place where they go off the napper, turn it on & put it back on, lately I even had to hit it a few times. Then it just is weaker too. It's really aggravating when he's starting to fuss & I want to turn it on quickly, but oops, I can't!!! The other thing is the noise from the vibration, seriously WAY TOO LOUD!! I have to shove a pillow or blanket against where the batteries go to muffle it. Everyone comments on how stinking loud it is!! And my other big problem is, it says it's easy to take places, uh yeah if you don't have to fold it up!!! My husband can get it folded, I cannot to save my life!! I sometimes can get it folded in 1/2, but forget putting the legs down...and yes, I've pinched my fingers numerous times trying!!! If they could fix ALL those things, I think it would be great because the baby is nice & cozy in there...but I'm not going to lie, I'm aggravated my son does love it so much because it is such a pain. Thankfully he's getting into his swing & bouncer a bit more now. But unfortunately, I will prob have to buy another for my parents house since my mom will be watching him when I got back to work at the end of July. It's def nice for us to have for him...but we need 1 there & 1 here because it's just so NOT easy to travel with!!! So I have mixed feelings on it...glad I had it because it helped us through a lot...but not glad because he loves it so much & it can be quite a pain. I'd only recommend it if you really wanted something similar & could not find anything anywhere else. We bought it before he was a week old so I could put him in something instead of dragging bassinet out to family room & all that...had I had more time to research, I'm sure I could've found something that was similar but better!!!

Comments about Summer Infant Resting Up Napper:

WE LOVE this thing, the only drawback is that the vibration feature shuts off (it is supposed to) after only 20 minutes and sometimes Lily wakes up. For the price it is well worth it, she sleeps much better than she was sleeping when laying flat. This would be the best thing ever if it vibrated longer, like her bouncy seat. This one also eats batteries up much more quickly than the bouncer, this takes 3 AA's....her bouncer runs on 4 C's and they last much longer. Overall, this is good. Would recommend. We didn't want to pay $200 for something she will only used for a few wmonths. We call this lily's "Nest".
