The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct is a do-whatever-you-need-to-survive first-person action game that brings the deep, character-driven world of AMC's Emmy ® Award-winning TV series onto console gaming systems and the PC. The game follows the mysterious, crossbow-wielding survivor Daryl Dixon, brought to life by TV series star Norman Reedus, alongside his overbearing brother Merle, voiced by Michael Rooker, on a haunting, unforgiving journey across the Georgia countryside. Players will need to tread carefully on this desperate quest, scrounging for food, water, and ammunition to survive against nightmares both living and undead.

      As a Walking Dead fan I was excited to see a game released with Walking Dead characters you can play. Unfortunately, game play is just horrible. There is no way to "Dodge" or "Evade" to get away, all you can do is try to run past the zombies only get caught in a hoard of them. Then you can't move so you try to fight your way out but die anyhow. After taking some time to give the game a fair chance I got so frustrated and mad, I took the game out and i have no interest in trying it again. The game, in my opinion, is very outdated as you can't do half the things you can do with every other first person shooter-style game out there. If you really want to play this game I would rent it, don't buy it. Do your homework and read other reviews. Save your money, you will be glad you did.
