My nephew is all boy, if you know what I mean. He rides, spins and does all types of tricks on this bike. The only complaint I have is that the chain fell off several times. It was returned to the store and they gladly gave him another bike.

This is a really nice bike and the fact that it is only 18 inches and has gears is great. My 7 year old has became a great bike rider and needed gears to make pedaling easier when off road. He is still very short though and this was the only one I could find anywhere. Good bike well build except for the gear shifter is kinda cheap. But all in all good for a beginner.

The bike was easy to put together, BUT the front brake cable was VERY difficult to put on, so we decided not to put it on.
