We got this stroller when our twins were 6 months old and have had it for 5 months. We got it primarily b/c the wheels are big and thought it would take our rough terrain well. It is so easy to push around and the bumps in the roads are not very noticable. Our last stoller with small wheels would get stuck on asphalt cracks. If you walk with any type of speed you have to lock the front wheel, but it's still easy to push that way. The price was another factor. I read lots of reveiws on double strollers and had another stroller in mind when we went to the store. Of course, the store did not have the one I wanted. That was okay b/c this stroller was half the cost and I could walk away with it. It does not fold very small, but luckily I have a suburban and it fits just fine standing against one wall. It's lightweight, the cup holders work well, and the speakers are an added bonus (I don't use very often). This was a good purchase for us.

We use this stroller with our 10 month old twin boys and it has it's pros/cons.

Pros: boys can sit side by side to interact/poke each other. Side basket/net next to them for binkies, small stuffed animals, sippy cups. Bottom basket holds small to medium sized lunch coolers, and rolled up picnic blankets. Diaper bag does not fit. Easy release buckle. Adjustable shoulder straps. Adjustable canopy for the sun, with a 'peek hatch' to check on them. Comfortable grip on the handle, 2 cup holders in the parent tray. Easy to manuver on grass, gravel, and a cinch on pavement.

cons: fabric color - black absorbs the heat from the sun and gets hot - I'm making a seat cover to combat this. Straps - chintzy nylon fabric that chafes. Tires - go flat easily - buy a portable bike pump. Front tire wobbles a lot. Speakers for MP3/smartphone: sound quailty is terrible - I just use the speaker on my smartphone or embrace the quiet. Diaper bag does not fit in bottom basket. Takes up a lot of room in the cargo area of my minivan. The stroller is mostly 'parked' in the garage.

BIG CON: This stroller does not always fit through doorways. I have scuffed both of the hubcaps on the back tires in order to get through a door. I have tried angling the stroller through and it still gets stuck! This is embarassing and frustrating. Baby Trend NEEDS to fix this in the next model upgrade.

Comments about Baby Trend Expedition EX Double Jogging Stroller - Concord:

We have a Graco double stroller (front/back) & wanted a side-by-side one with bike wheels. This would only be used for beach, amusement parks, etc.
We need something that would work with our 3-year-old.

We bought a high-end (over $600) double stroller and our daughter hated it! Our daughter's big complaint was the hood of the stroller & that the seat was too far in.

So with more searching we found this one, Baby Trend! She loves it! There is head room for her, the hood does not over her face & the seat back is higher up! My husband loves stroller because it has the tray for the parents with 2-cup holders. The basket is an ok size. We also love that with both kids in it, 3-year-old & 11-month-old that this stroller is so easy to push!

I just have to add this…***I really hate when people give a bad review on side-by-side strollers for not fitting into doorways! Get over it! Don't like it then get a front/back one then!***

Comments about Baby Trend Expedition EX Double Jogging Stroller - Concord:

like anything, this stroller has pros and cons.

my wife and i have one year old identical twin girls. we were at a twins festival in ohio and our side by side broke. we didn't have our front and back with us so we had to buy a new one. we went to babies r us and they didn't have the one we saw on the website, and i had wanted a double jogger, so we went with this one. it sets up and tears down literally, in seconds. you can take the side wheels off for storage (or to get through a doorway) with the pinch of a button. we had to take the side wheels off for storage in the back of our Rendezvous with all of our luggage, but not when we are luggage-free. the ride is very smooth, better than either of our other strollers. the front wheel DID wobble, but you can adjust the nut on top of the wheel before you put the wheel cover on. DO THIS. the speakers are garbage, but that's ok, they're good enough for being speakers on a stroller. i wasn't expecting Bose quality. it does not fit in some doorways, this is true. it really depends on the door. i guess they could make the wheel base smaller, but i do not know all the engineering that goes into these, and i'm sure they tried to do what they could. another big thing i do not like about it, is the middle of the seat seems to sag, forcing our girls together. i will come up with a solution for this. but right now, it is what it is. all-in-all, we do really like this stroller

Comments about Baby Trend Expedition EX Double Jogging Stroller - Concord:

This jogging stroller is good for the price. It doesn't fit through all exterior doors at local businesses because it's too wide (if it was a half an inch narrower, I would not have any problems). When you walk quickly or run you must lock the front tire in place or is shakes the stroller violently. (But this is common among jogging strollers). It is very easy to maneuver and my kids (9 months and 3 years) love it. They easily entertain each other. I love that the sun shade moves to cover their heads and it doesn't stay connected to the stroller like other strollers. The last thing I do not like is the parent console, it is only attached by one part and when you fold it up to store it, it falls out and the contents that you store in it fall out.

We did our research on double strollers and decided this one was the best one considering we were looking for a jogging stroller as well. We loved it at first...until the time we had to change the tires 3 times because they get flat easily and the screw to the front wheel started to become loose. Other than that we enjoy it because it's tough and can hack rough roads. If only the tires wouldn't give us so many problems and it would fit in our trunk!

Pretty lightweight for a jogging stroller. Folds easily. My girls love sitting next to each other, there is not much of a divider. Nice storage underneath. Speakers worked well. Pretty much loved this stroller for the price! Used a 20% off coupon in store and got a free umbrella stroller for the grandparents. Only problem so far was that 2 wheels wouldn't hold air right out of the box. Had to exchange it. Other than that, it's been great so far for me.

Comments about Baby Trend Expedition EX Double Jogging Stroller - Concord:

I have a 3 year old who is 44" tall as well as a 15 month old. We love to be outdoors pretty much all day. We cover a lot of mileage walking so I sometimes would have two napping kids, leaving me to carry one kid while pushing the other. We have avoided double strollers because it seemed all the double strollers were terribly expensive AND my 3 year old was too tall. This one fits both kids. I just got back from a 4 mile walk and both of them were asleep comfortably next to each other in the stroller. This stroller is compact so if you have kids who aren't comfortable being right next to each other, you might want one which has more of a divider between seats. But my kids loved it. Both boys enjoyed getting to sit next to each other and my 3 year old loved pointing out things to see for his little brother. The seats are pretty narrow, so if you have stockier kiddos, you might want something else. It is kind of a bummer that there are no cupholders, but we found ones in the sore made by babies r us which fit perfectly. So happy to find a stroller which works so well for the price.
