Product Description

Nosefrida, the original doctor-developed and doctor-recommended nasal aspirator is the new standard in keeping babies naturally snot free. Ingeniously simple Swedish design features a tube that is placed against the nostril (not inside). Parents use their own suction to draw mucus out of their child's nose. Disposable filters prevent any bacterial transfer. Nosefrida is easy to clean, top-rack safe, and BPA and Phthalate free. It is superior to the bulb aspirator, presents no risk or harm to internal nasal structures and is dramatically more efficacious.

Our 6 week old baby developed congestion 3 days ago and has been struggling to breathe which resulted in no sleep for any of us. We tried the saline and bulb syringe over and over with no success, also tried the humidifier as well as a number of other things...our pediatrician's nurse recommended this product and we bought it immediately. We couldn't believe what came out of her nose and immediately she seemed back to her normal self and fell asleep! I'm considering giving these as baby gifts to everyone.

We've ventured into many different brands of nasal aspirators but this was by far the least effective. Our trials are conducted on an 11 month old that has been very stuffy in connection with the seasons and teething. We have the hospital-standard issue, the Little Noses, the Safety First pump action, the Safety First battery operated with music...and the Nosefrida. Nosefrida has not earned a place in pur arsenal though my baby loves to hold the tube! The suction seems insufficient for the. , the tip is too large for direct suction on specific areas...even when they are visible to the eye. I bought the device with high hopes, as well as extea filters and have had no success at all though I have tried multiple times. I generally just resort to the hospital standard issue and make do. I have had no snot-sucking success at all with Nosefrida.

Comments about Fridababy Nosefrida ""The Snotsucker"" Nasal Aspirator:

Best way to get out the gunk. When your baby is sick and fussy and you know the best way to calm then down is to get out the nose gunk then use this weird product. A regular sucker is invasive and takes like 15 tries. Thus one works every time with little discomfort if any. 2 tries max on each nostril top make sure it's all out. I wish I knew about this sooner! Makes a great gift!!

Comments about Fridababy Nosefrida ""The Snotsucker"" Nasal Aspirator:

I tired the bulb from the hospital and it works just not as well as the Nose Frida. We run the humidifier at night and in the morning I can hear all the loose mucous when she is breathing. We get the nose frida out and work a little magic. She can breathe when she eats which means faster feedings and less mucous in her tummy potentially resulting in a vomit incident. It works. Easy to clean. Easy to use.

Comments about Fridababy Nosefrida ""The Snotsucker"" Nasal Aspirator:

Perfect invention especially for sucking snot from NB gets it all out in just a couple of aspirations unlike the regular aspirators you need to aspirate their itty bitty nose so much and they get angry. This product just so fast to get the boogies out you can regulate the suction manually which is perfect. I use it for my 1 y/o also because they can't blow their nose so good. Only thing not so great is the piece you aspirate sometimes when aspirating your babies nose you kind of wet the mouth piece as if you were to drink a thick milk shake and a little bit of spit gets left on the piece which is totally normal.

I have heard great things about this from other moms. I bought it and have used it several times. It is great at getting the gunk that is stuck in the sinuses without putting an obtrusive pointy thing up your babies nostrils. It is designed so no gunk gets in your mouth when using it. Highly recommend it.

I've used this on my 3 month old. She absolutely hates it. I find it easier to control than a bulb syringe, easy to clean, and rewarding to see the mucous removed. That said, I don't find it more effective and it can be harder to use because I need to hold it with one hand, steady the baby with the other, and keep one end in my mouth.
