My 3 year old loves this game. We started out with 8 matches, but have quickly added more to our game. Turn taking is still a challenge, but that's kind of the point of the game.

I wanted the memory game shown here. BUT was sent the new one which I think is more for girls because it is pastel with 2 yellow fish on the center of the box. Even after reordering to get this one I was sent the same one again. They said they would remove this picture but have not done so yet. I still am trying to find the right game I want.

Purchased for a 2 and 3 yr old for Christmas. This is really a classic, I can remember playing memory games when I was young. This game can be easily adapted in several ways for very young children, and it is easily taught. This game is pictures, no words which is good for children that do not read yet. I am pleased with this purchase, we play this game or a variation of it daily.

I loved this game as a child and now my 2 1/2 year old daughter loves it too! she has trouble playing it like you normaly would w/ cards face down but we have alot of fun matching the cards face up. I have only owned this game fo about a month and she is already alot better at counting and matching the cards.

3-year-old grandson calls them "my flower," "my elephant," "my birthday cake," etc. and makes up his own games and ways of sorting and stashing. Promotes language and creativity! Extra lamination might help longevity!
