The Bubble Mower XLT is the first bubble mower ready for an outdoor adventure. Updated styling allows for improved ground clearance, all terrain traction on the tires, and a deeper well for the bubble solution so there's less spillage. We've added play features kids love including realistic electric start key and lever to control your speed. Filling it up is a breeze now too thanks to a special cap for the solution bottle. The cap includes a valve which allows just the right amount of solution to be dispensed into the well. When the solution needs to be re-charged, kids just push down on the bottle again. I was hesitant about this after reading so many bed reviews, and I'll admit it is messy if turned over and very awkward to refill -- surprising to me coming from Fisher-Price, whose toys are usually very well designed. Otherwise, this is a great product, and I'm happy to report my 2-yr-old son ADORES it. He runs gleefully around the yard, leaving a trail of bubbles for his 1-yr-old sister to pop. (They sing a song from Dora while they run). It's a great option for kids too young to blow bubbles with traditional plastic wands. Refilling the mower is very messy, and my son gets impatient waiting for me to hold the bottle down to load the soap. Other than that, it's great entertainment for the price!

I bought this toy so my 19 mo/old daughter could play with it while we were in the backyard this past Memorial Day. I demonstrated how she should use it and the bubbles came out great the first few times, but quickly lost its' appeal. She also keep pulling the bottle out of its little holder. My daughter just pushed the mower around a little bit and left it on the lawn the remainder of our time outdoors.

    My 2 year old received this as a gift for his birthday and we thought it was going to be great, unfortunately it only half worked. While the mower part is great and even makes a quiet mower sound the bubbles didn't work at all. My son was so excited for bubbles, but even after cleaning it out and refilling (using up all of his refills) the bubbles never came.
    It was a let down, but after reading other reviews I'm seeing that it's a common occurrence with this toy.

    My son is literally obsessed with lawn mowers and anything that have to do with them. He turns 2 next week and loves this mower. We used the entire bottle of bubbles the first time we tried to get bubbles and it did make a mess. However, my son didn't even know it was supposed to make bubbles so he is not disappointed in it! He plays with his "mo mo" everyday and loves it! I plan to buy him the garden and leaf blower for his birthday even when all reviews say that it stinks!     My daughter pushed one of these around the store and seemed to be having fun so I bought it. When I brought it home and tried to use it not a single bubble came from the mower. I washed it out several times and even tried to use 3 different kinds of bubble solution. What a waste of time. Do not buy this.

        Bought this for my daughter since she just loves walking and pushing/carrying things around and she loves bubbles. I had one as a kid and it was one of my favorite toys.

        Really disappointed in this product now. If it was advertised only as a mower with a little "vroom" engine sound, I'd give it 5 stars. But it's not. It's advertised as a bubble mower. In order to get the bubbles to blow, you have to go super speed walking (as an adult). There's no way she can go fast enough to make this blow bubbles. It also spills the bubbles everywhere if it's lifted more than about 4 inches off the ground unevenly (and let's be honest- that's going to happen dozens of times if you give this to a 2 year old). Overall a waste of the money in my opinion. Should've gotten a popper for half the price.

          I bought one for my grand daughter. I have tried on 3 different occasions to get this thing to make a bubble. Not a single one. If I hadn't already put the box out for recycling I would have returned it.

          I originally gave this toy a very poor rating due to the fact that the replacement bubble bottles were way too expensive and because my son had to practically run with the mower just for the bubbles to come out. However, after I left that review, I was contacted by Fisher price. They sent me a brand new mower without me even asking for one! Also, it looks like they corrected the flaws. This one works great! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the replacement bubble bottles are not sold in stores (not that I can find). If you order them from Fisher price, they are only $3, but you have to pay $5 for shipping. Thank you, Fisher Price, for your excellent customer service!

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

          We got this toy as a gift, and my son loves it! We had for a 1 year now and every time we go outside he plays with it. The only thing bad it's that the bubbles never worked, and we also have the truck one that my son loves too, and the bubbles don't work on that either. But it still a fun toy for the kids!
