I have been using my BabyPlus for three weeks now and find it very easy to use. While I cannot comment on the effects, since my baby won't be born for a few more months, I can say that I enjoy using BabyPlus and am happy to know that I am taking extra steps to give my son the best start possible. I think of BabyPlus as a normal part of my pregnancy routine, kind of like taking prenatal vitamins. I take a vitamin once a day, I use BabyPlus twice a day.

Some mothers note that it is noisy. I felt the same way at first, but I am now used to it and can tune it out. I talk to people on the phone while I'm using it and nobody has ever asked what the background noise is, so I don't think it's that loud. If the noise bothers you that much, I would suggest laying in bed with a pillow against your stomach. If you do this, it will mute the noise so much that you won't even hear it at all.

I travel frequently and take my BabyPlus with me. It is lightweight & compact and not difficult to use when traveling. I have used the product for about 3 weeks now and am needing to replace the batteries for the first time, so I don't think that is too bad. It's not like you have to change the batteries every other day, or even every week!

I will definitely recommend BabyPlus to all mothers-to-be. Why not do everything you can for your little one before they're born?!

This was my first pregnancy and received the babyplus when I was around 20 weeks pregnant. I used it continuously one hour in the morning while getting ready for school, and an hour before bed. This was routine everyday except for the last month of pregnancy. I had a lot going on and I forgot to use it some days. My son was born at 41 weeks and I had noticed that he was a very good baby, very calm, self soothed, very alert, and reached his developmental milestone earlier than many of my friends babies. He is 8 weeks now and is able to hold his head up well. From the day he was born, he wanted to hold his head up on his own and never wanted to lay his head down on your shoulder if you carried him. He reacted to my voice from the day he was born, and even turned his head toward sounds and voices. At 5-6 weeks, he was socially smiling and cooing. If I remember, he was giggling at 4 weeks. I know that by now he has the stepping reflex but when I put some of his body weight on his feet, he takes one step after the other very well, as if he wants to walk, or even run. At 5-6 weeks, he was already touching and batting at toys. He is getting better at it now... he just likes to grab onto things now. I have many compliments on him. Many don't believe me when I tell them he is 8 weeks old because he acts a lot older and very alert and loves to smile.

We used BabyPlus with our 1st child, and it delivered on all of it's claims. She could self-sooth, and was incredibly attentive right from birth. Most importantly, she began to sleep for long periods (like, thru the night) at a very young age!!Having such a wonderfully behaved 1st child, everyone warned us that the 2nd child would be different, which was far from the case. We used BabyPlus again, and achieved the same results. The only difference is that the 2nd one is more cuddly whereas the 1st was more independent, but the heightened alertness and ability to self soothe persists.

I was skeptical about my wife using this during pregnancy. I had two friends (who do not know one another) mention that we should use it. I did and I can't stop telling people about it. Something this simple made such a BIG impact.

I started to use this item at about 18 weeks pregnant and used it for the hour in the morning and at night. I feel this really helped my baby in the long run because once she was born she was extremely alert and wide eyed. Even after her birth I would put it in her crib to help soothe her, she has been sleeping 12 hours a night now since about 7 months old (I stopped using the product after a move at around 2 months of age for her). At 10 months now she is still very alert and shows interest and holds that interest on learning activities I do with her (singing songs, colors, shapes, numbers). I highly suggest all expecting Mom's to try this product out!

I used the product for my first and he was very alert at birth. He was easily soothed and was not a bad sleeper. I can't say he slept through the night right away, but what can you expect from a newborn. My son was always intrigued by new things. He observed everything around him and even started to "sing" (hum in tune) at 2 months! He was laughing out loud at 2 months and was very energetic. My son starting talking very soon and was able to carry a simple conversation by the age of 2. He is almost 3 and has a very extensive vocabulary. I'm pregnant again and decided I wasn't going to use BabyPlus because I lost the first one and didn't want to purchase another since they are so costly. My husband believes my son's behavior and intelligence is due to BabyPlus. So I thought to myself, what if I take the chance and go through this pregnancy and our new child doesn't develop similarly to their brother what would I say to myself? And how would I know if it really does or does not work? Would I be able to forgive myself? So I just purchased it again.

I used this product with my first pregnancy. My daughter started sleeping through the night at 6 weeks old (she was a terrible napper from the start, but hey I got 8 hours of sleep at night!). Things have not been perfect, but I do think the estimulation worked. We are raising her bilingual and, despite all comments from doctors letting us know to not worry if we saw any delays which were normal and expected, she has always exceeded her communication skills. I'm pregnant again and I'm using it again.

I used BabyPlus religiously (one hour in the morning and one hour in the evening) from about 14 weeks until birth. I must say it's a time commitment, and you never can know what this product changed in how your child interacts with the world, how they learn, or is it just genetics.

For the first 4 or 5 months she needed to be patted on the back, while being shushed and rocked to get to sleep. I always wondered if she needed her back patted rhythmically was somehow replicating BabyPlus pounding noises that she heard so often while she was in my belly.

My daughter is 2 years old, and is very bright, loves reading, and very, very talkative for her age. She is having conversations like a 2 1/2 to 3 year old. I get a lot of comments on how well she talks, and how they are amazed she loves books so much. She loves to be quizzed on different animals, and knows most of them!

But who is to say that was BabyPlu'ss doing because my daughter definitely didn't and still doesn't have self-soothing skills. She didn't sleep through the night until almost 18 months. She still wakes up at night needing reassuring. She isn't self entertained. She needs constant interaction and needs to be played with or she is at my side. She was definitely a "high needs baby" which this product makes it seem like if you use this product you will get a mellow kid who is super smart. We got the super smart, but mellow and easy... NOPE!

I am pregnant again, and will not be using BabyPlus.

I began using the product at 18 weeks pregnant. The first lesson (which is an hour long) within 15 minutes the baby was kicking at the device. He got to the point he would anticipate the lesson. I would try to give it at the same time every day. If I forgot to give it to him at the time he was used to getting at he would let me know. When he was born, I did it all unmedicated and he came out with eyes wide open and everyone was surprised at how alert he was and he breastfed very well within the first hour after birth. I also got comments about how strong he was. The nurses and my doula said he had a very strong back. He held his head sooner than a lot of babies and is very smart. My doula is going to recommend it to her clients. He is 4 months old now and everyone that sees him is amazed at his socialness and alertness. Would recommend to other mommies to be!

So far, this product is great. Finding time to use it twice a day for an hour each time can be difficult at times. But, I just use it when I can and hope for the best :) I find the drumming sound to be very peaceful and it actually helps me fall asleep at night.
