I didn't want to review this product until my daughter was old enough so that I can see a difference.
Well since birth she was very aware of people and of her suroundings. She was very calm and quite (the nurses even praised her for being the best baby in the nursery). She hit all of her milestones early. Since she was born she was sleeping through the night. I actually had to wake her up to feed her. She is 2 1/2 now and she speaks like a 4 year old. She is extremely bright. I am always getting compliments from people about how well behaved she is and how smart she is. She is very imaginative and loves to make up games and songs.
I used the system since the 18th week till the very end and I loved the time I had. It was relaxing and I also loved seeing my daughter react to it. It was our little bonding time.
I have since recommended this system to 5 woman. And they all love it. I can't wait till my next child so I can use it again!

at first i was skeptical about putting drums on for the baby. i thought it would be annoying to the poor little thing. but honestly after i used it and my friend used it, ithink it worked! our kids are happy and were awesome babies. very good sleepers and were calm and able to adapt to chaning enviorments. it cant hurt so i will DEF use for the next baby.

I received this product from my wonderful husband for Christmas. He knew I wanted to try it out, and was sweet enough to buy it for me. I began using it on the first day of my 18th week. After doing the calculations it recommends, I am to use the 16 lessons, for 9 days each. I found it helpful to mark it in my planner to help me remember which day I am on! It is very comfortable to wear, I usually cover with my shirt, and keep on with whatever I am doing! It doesn't get in the way whatsoever, is very snug (and I am petite), and I haven't had any issues with accidently pushing the start button - yet - I have only been using it for 4 days! But I love this product already and am anxious to see results! I figured, why not, it won't harm my baby - but may help!

I wasn't sure about this product and it was expensive, but I decided if it worked at all it would be worth it.
While every baby is different and genetics are involved, I think this deviced helped my daughter (now 2) get through her first year.
I started this product around 20 weeks and did it to and from work daily. My daughter was born at 35 weeks, so I didn't get through all the lessons.
My daughter was born with a correctable defect and need 3 surgeries by the time she was 9 months olds. She also had other health problems being a premie and was delayed.
However, from the time she was born she was alert and a calm baby and slept great! At 8 weeks she was sleeping 6 hours a night and at 12 weeks she was sleeping all night long. Everywhere we went people commented on how good she was and even at the hospital the nurses all said she did so well despited getting pinched and prodded.
At 9 months after her last surgery she started to get physical therapy and the therapist couldn't believe how fast she would catch on! She picked up things real fast and by 15 months she was released from therapy since she caught up to her age group in physical and was advanced in her speech. The therapist said she had one of the fastest recoveries.
Now at 2 years of age, my daughter is ahead of her milestones. She speaks like a 3 yr old and is so active, one would not know her hard first year of life. She also takes 1 nap a day for about 2 hours, which is so nice to get work done. In the mornings she always wakes up happy and she will sleep from 8pm to 8am on weekends. If she isn't sleeping, she doesn't wake us up until then.
I am now going to have our second child and this time, will start the product on time and see what happens. Once I am done, I will pass this onto my family.
As parents we are very active with my daughter. I talked to her as a baby and we spend time learning after work. My family is also smart, so I think all these things need to be taken into account.
I saved up to buy this product and I will continue to use it and hope for the best. As long as it doens't hurt the baby, then you can't go wrong.
As for the beating, I put my shirt over it to drown out the sound. You get used to it and in the car, I still listen to my music. Also, I am plus sized and this product fit me fine. I had no problems with using it in the car.
I didn't give it 5 stars since I can't prove 100% if it worked or not.

My daughter is 5 1/2 weeks old and she rarely fusses. My husband used to laugh at me when I wore the "Baby Beat Box" but now he really appreciates how calm our daughter is. She doesn't have to be held all of the time. I can place her in swing or crib when she is awake and she doesn't fuss. I highly recommend this to all expectant mothers.

I started using Babyplus when I was 20 weeks pregnant. I was a bit skeptical, but I thougt I would give it a try. I am so glad I did. My baby is 3 months now. He started sleeping though the night at 7 weeks. He is a very happy baby and is able to soothe himself. I know I will be using this product again for our next baby!

I wore this with my daughter who is now 15 months. She from the start has been the perfect baby! No lie, she slept threw the night from 6 weeks. Even now with teething i just give her a little tylenol and she is back to her happy self. Everyone comments on what a happy & smart baby she is. She is a little devil but I think that genetics, lol can't be helped. I do think this worked so much. She self soothes and wakes up babbling, happy never screaming or crying. Once in a great while she will wimper a bit and i just go in her room pop a binky in her mouth and shes back asleep with in minutes. The doctor said she is ahead in everything except....

she refuses to walk or stand. AGAIN genetics, lol. I was the same way.

I am pregnant again and plan on using this! It can be annoying but for the results I see I don't care!

I haven't had my twins yet, but they sure repond to this with increased movement while it is on. I have no problems with it at all! I use it while going to and from work and have no problem with the seatbelt interfering with it!!!

My husband and I call this "The Baby Beat Box" and the reason for it is because it plays really loud tapping noises. The first time I wore it, the noise was annoying, but I have since gotten used to it. My husband thinks it sounds like the same noise that we heard when the neighbors next door were re-shingling their roof.

Here's what's bad about the "beat box":
*There is nothing to prevent you from accidentally pressing the button and restarting the hour of sound.
*Sometimes if I am wearing it during my commute home from work, the seatbelt will situate itself on top where the button is and it will start all over again. It's annoying.
*The other problem is that if you accidentally press the button while it's already on, you get bumped up to the next lesson. Then you have to press the button as many times as it takes to get back to the proper lesson you are on.

The things I like about it:
*It's comfortable to wear
*It remembers the lesson you last were listening to so it starts over where you left off
*It will be worth it if the reviews I have read about the results are true
*It fits in my purse so I can take it with me when I know I'll be gone for a long time
*The sound gets muffled, especially if you cover it with the waistband of your pants.

This device would be great if there was some sort of locking mechinism so that I can prevent from accidentally pressing the button when I don't want to press the button.

While I can't say it's because of Baby Plus, all the benefits I read and researched about the product before I purchased BP I have seen in my (now 16 month) old daughter. She appeared alert practically since day one and has reached all of her milestones well in advance of her other friends her age. While it's not a competition which baby can be the first to do XYZ, my baby has been SO easy to communicate with and understand because she is so expressive and alert as newborn and now as a toddler. My recommendation is that if you can afford to purchase it, you hopefully will see the same type of positive benefits that I have been fortunate to see and experience with my daughter. I wore it every night (after 18 weeks) while I watched TV or read - it was easy to use and wear too.
