Love it! We got this for my daughter last christmas and she still plays with it. As an educator it's a wonderful toy. It teaches the ABC and the chant for each letter with the sound. EX: A says 'a' A says 'a' every letter has a sound A says 'a'. It's a great toy for someone with a toddler/preschool or a toddler - Kindergarten teacher.

I would suggest purchasing the LeapFrog Letter Factory Video alongside this, the video teaches the phonics in the same melodic tune as the fridge set only adds more fun/story to make it memorable.

I don't think the clarity of the girls' voice is as good as it needs to be for this product. My kids can't always tell what letter a sound makes and there's really nothing about it that holds their attention. It sings the alphabet song and the jingle for each letter is the same. Lacks creativity.

We got this as a gift when my son was about 14 months. The most entertainment he's gotten out of it is through the sound the letters make when he swipes them off the fridge. He'll take the main piece and dance around the house while playing the alphabet song but normally just ignores it. He's figured out how the letter recognition works so he'll just push down the tabs to see which combination he's found. I can't really consider it educational in our house but it has the potential to be a good tool with someone else I'm sure.

I keep this on my fridge and allow the older kids in childcare to play while I feed the younger ones. this is a great toy for beginning letter and phonetic recognition.

My boys are 26 mo. and just starting to learn their letters. Within one week of playing with this they knew many of them. I keep it in the kitchen and we play it together at breakfast or lunch, which keeps them interested in it. They would probably lose interest quicker if it was mixed with all their other toys though. It was also $10 cheaper through ToysRUs than [...]! One complaint: the Z letter makes the wrong sound, so I just make the sound myself... and louder than the machine when we do Z.

I have four kids four years and under, and they love this toy. They like to line up the alphabet, my youngest uses the toy to make the sounds. The letters are big and easy for little hands to handle. :)

My son received this as a gift when he was 2. He is 3 now and still loves it. He likes to scatter the letters all over the fridge. Then I'll tell him to find a certain letter then he rushes to find it and put it on and press to confirm he's right! It was so great for when he was reviewing his letters in Pre-K. Each week I'd add whatever letter they were working on to the fridge. And now he loves playing with all of them. I love this product. Its cute and keeps him entertained while I cook! I'd definitely recommend this to a friend!

My child loves this product and it is definitely helping her out with her alphabet. I like being able to change out the letters. We've been working on a letter a week and she's definitely becoming familiar with the song. It is very easy for her to turn it on and push the buttons. I have it at a height that works for her. She is 20 months old.
