We've owned this for about 3 months now and I really liked it at first because of the loud white noise, which I liked because it helped my twin babies to fall asleep. But now it's really starting to build up mold and we have to wash the inside much more frequently now, and it's really a pain to clean. There are so many crevices you can't get into and the part where the motor is can't even be accessed. I was never able to get the thing to smell fresh, even with changing the filter and dropping in the fresh tablets. Do not waste your money!

I have had this for 9 years now and I have had NO problems at all. I am sorry that so many of u have issues with yours and thank u for sharing them. but I cannot say one bad thing .

The humidifier was so loud we could not use it at night, which is why I bought it in the first place.

This worked great for a month, then it started getting louder and louder each night. Finally last night (2 months after purchase) was all our 10 month old could take. It was louder than sitting on the wing of a propeller airplane at take-off! I spoke to the manufacturing company and they think it was a off-kilter disk. (The inside spins so if it's not perfectly balanced, it makes this horribly loud noise.) I took it back to B'r'Us today and exchanged it for a new one. We'll see how long this one lasts...

The water only lasts for 24hrs.. which stinks.
The first night I brought it home it broke, started making a LOUD and annoying noise. Couldnt figure out how to fix it so I returned it. It was not worth my time

This product is junk. It is a flimsy plastic that does not fit together well, the filter doesn't fit snug and the whole thing vibrates so much that it sounds like there is race track in my son's room. I will be returning this promptly. And on top of the terribly loud noise it didn't produce any mist! Don't waist your money, spend the extra 10 bucks and get one that works!

We have had this humidifier for almost a year and have used it occasionally. We have traveled with in to at least 3 different cities. Everywhere we go, we have the same problem: the nasty, red, slimy build-up! I thought it was just our water at home, but when it continued to happen in different locations, we knew it was the humidifier.

My husband got out his toolbox and disassembled the entire thing in an attempt to thoroughly clean it, but one of the parts that most needs to be cleaned (the box the contains the gears/motor) is completely inaccessible. I also have trouble finding the replacement filters, as my local stores don't carry them. Today I bought a new humidifier (Safety 1st Ultrasonic 360) and I am already so much happier!

Great product, have used this for several years with no issues. I do not have any of the problems others have mentioned and am surprised by the low ratings.

THIS PRODUCT is SO LOUD! It sounds like a lawn mower in the baby room. It even woke up my baby while I was trying to set it up. I returned it so fast. Do not buy unless you like loud noises. Also big and odd shaped.
