One crank turns Cranky's head left or right - while the second crank lifts any available magnetic cargo. Includes cargo piece. Rusty with Construction Cars (258070) are often found working with Cranky at the docks. Cranky is the star of the Cranky video.

I guess the head coming off wasn't a big issue for me. I spose that is just how they make wooden toys... I just had my husband use some wood glue so it wouldn't come off anymore. Easy fix if you ask me. My son enjoys this crane among his other Sodor destinations, you should see all the Thomas stuff he has!

Cranky's head does come off quite easily, but it pops back on once properly aligned. With normal, gentle play his head stays on, but vigorous 3 year old boy play causes his head to come off. Surprisingly, the retracting cord still works despite the entire crane being swung around by its magnet end. Overall, a fun toy but the missing head does cause frustration.

my 2 year old grandson got this for christmas and he absolutely loves it.he wouldnt come out of his room.the remote was very easy for him to do.it talks it picks up thinks it moves without any problems.what a wonderfully made toy,and it was very affordable..if any boy at any age receives this toy it will be truly something they will always remember.

My almost 3 year old son LOVES Cranky! This has been his very favorite piece of all the items that he received from Santa. He loves to move both levers to turn and lower the cargo. I like that, because Cranky does not have an attached train track, my son is able to move Cranky to whichever spot on his train table that he needs to be.

Other than the price being REALLY steep, it is a fine toy. My four year old and two year old have been playing with it for a couple weeks and have not had any issues with the construction or operation of it at all.

I purchased this for my 3 year old grandson and was very disappointed with it. Every time you try to turn the crank (which is very hard for a 3 year old), the base that the crane sets on slides down again and again and has to be pulled up. The train doesn't even go on its own; you have to push it around and around. I think it was a total waste of [$]. Would not recommend this toy at all.
