          I love these toys and so does my 3 year old boy. I think it's great that he can play with Thomas the same way I did. But anyway, we have this engine and many of the others like it, and they have taken some beatings. My son prefers the floor to the track, and occsionally he decides to make the trains become planes, and they still look as awesome as they day we got them.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

            My 2-yo boy loves this Thomas toy, along w/a few of the others. He attaches it to each other using the magnets & off he goes...he uses the track sometimes & other times just on the floor. Sleeps w/them too! Great toy...encourages him to use his imagination.
