I began using this bumper as soon as my baby was able to roll over. He always loves to wedge himself against the sides of the crib. We don't use baby monitors since we live in a small condo, therefore I've had greater peace of mind knowing he can breathe right up against this bumper. I would definitely recommend. Not sure if anyone's mentioned this, but a major PLUS is that you don't have to remove the bumper when changing the dreaded crib sheet!!! That alone is worth the $$.

My 4 month old son presently sleeps in a cradle that is larger than a bassinett but smaller than his crib. It is made with slats like his crib and stays in the immobile position with the pin in. I bought this bumper because when he started moving more, he kept putting his hand through the slats as well as hitting his head up against the headboard slats. We were scared he would get his hands stuck or hurt his head on the slats. Although made for a crib, the bumber is working great in the cradle. I am happy with the product. When he moves to his crib in the next month, rest assured I will be transferring the bumper as well.

We love the breathable bumper pads! We bought this specific one (fits slatted crib) because the reviews sounded better than for the "fits all cribs" product. We are very happy with our choice. It did slide down a little bit, but we figure we can buy some velcro pieces to help hold it up, if needed. So far, we haven't needed to adjust anything. When we found her with her face right up against the pads, we were thankful we bought the breathable kind of bumpers!

My 3 month old likes to get right up against the bumper pad, so I can rest easy knowing I have a breathable bumper pad.

I like the breathable feature of this crib bumper. We have a sleigh style crib and it's a little tricky to get it worked around, but works good.

I love this. I bought this after the typical fears of what you hear about regular bumpers. I had removed my daughter's regular bumper, but then her little arms and legs kept getting stuck in the slats of the crib and I was worried she would break an arm or leg. I bought this and it was simple to put on and worked like a charm. I am still using it for the second kid. Love it. Would recommend it to everyone.

I really liked this product. My son tosses and turns in his sleep so much. It was such a relief to know that his face wouldn't get stuck in the bumper. The bumpers do slide up and down so you do have to pull them up sometimes. Great product!

Very pleased with product. Bumper is so soft and keeps tight against side of crib. I feel my baby is safer because I don't worry about her not being able to breath when she rolls up against the side of the crib. Would love to see more decorative choices. I bought the white, which looks great with my cherry sleigh crib.

The breathable bumper is a great idea! My son was always getting his head up under his crib bumper, but when we took it out, he was getting his arms and legs through the slats of the siderails. This product doesn't adhere to the crib rails and my 7 mo old son manages to get his arm up over the bumper and pull it down, on top of his face, and hang his arm outside the crib. Good thing it's mesh and breathable. Doesn't really provide very much padding either. I am not aware of anything else like it on the market, so I'd say it's "Just OK".

My husband and I got this product because we walked in to our 4 month old's bedroom and found him face down with his arm stuck between the crib slats and he couldn't turn over. I was terrified. If he hadn't got his arm stuck he would have been able to flip. I didn't want to use a standard bumper because of SIDS so we bought this and we LOVE it! I especially love how you can still lower the front of the crib (you can not do this with standard bumpers) its really well made and designed with a worried mom in mind.
